Golden Gate Comic Con, Chapter 3: Pages 11-12
PAGE 11
PANEL 1: Cut to Amanda looking over at the holographic screen in the living room showing the search results; the setting and layout behind her is the same as what we saw in Panel 5 of the previous page. She quickly changes tack in the conversation, glancing at the different restaurants on display.
AMANDA [to Adam]: True indeed. Anyway, now that the map's up...you in the mood for some Mexican? AMANDA [Bubble 2, responding to Panel 2 Bubble 1]: Most have gone Tex-Mex or some other fusion Mex, but there are still a few who know their way around a good flour tortilla and refried beans.
PANEL 2: Back to Adam in the same setting and layout as the last panel of the previous page; his right hand gently glancing on top of the tablet screen as he speaks. You can see a wide smile on his face, along with the generally playful attitude of someone wittily firing back at their sibling.
ADAM [interjecting to Amanda]: There any good ones left? ADAM [Bubble 2; responding to Panel 1, Bubble 2]: I can be up for that. On a separate, more nerdy note- Did Captain Marvel save the world from the purple grip of Thanos in Avengers 4?
PANEL 3: We cut back to Ms. deConnick Walsh in the same position as Panel 1 with the same setting and layout behind her. She chuckles and flashes a slight grin, moving a few steps to her left in order to get a better look at the options.
AMANDA: I haven't seen it in years, but...I do remember whooping in the theater at the end.
INT. EL ESTADO DORADO- Night
PANEL 4: Cut to a shot of the two of them walking through a pair of glass doors into a nice brightly lit restaurant, which is only seen partially through the tile ground floors and the edges of other windows to either side of them. You can hear the sound of music, flowing over the top of the panel.
AMANDA [Cont., Off-Panel caption]: "Though that may have had to do with what happened to another bright colored egomaniac earlier that week."
PANEL 5: We move to a close-up on Adam's face looking around at the surroundings of the area a few moments later. You can see, as was the case in the previous panel, a growing pit of anxiety form on his face; his hands searching through his pocket off-panel.
PANEL 6: Same setting/layout as the previous panel. A second later, his attention is turned to the side by his sister's voice alongside him; his hand having stopped searching for the mystery object.
AMANDA [Off-Panel]: The noise getting to you? ADAM [nods]: A little... AMANDA [Off-Panel, Bubble 2]: I figured that was a possibility.

PANEL 1: Cut to a shot of Ms. de Connick-Walsh a few seconds later, slightly nodding in acknowledgment to her brother's statement from the last panel of the previous page. She glances over in the direction of the Hostess who is out of view at this point in time.
AMANDA [Cont. reassuring, to Adam]: That's why I chose one that handles people like you, bro...
PANEL 2-3: A two-part set of panels that each focus on an over the back shot of Adam watching as his sister walks up to the restaurant worker and talks indiscriminately with each other through the course of Panel 2. In Panel 3, the Hostess turns her attention over to the young man, grabbing a pair of menus from behind the podium.
ADAM [thought bubble, Panel 2]: Wonder what that means...maybe soundproof booths that descend into the bottom of the restaurant. HOSTESS [to Adam, courteously; Panel 3]: Right this way, sir! Madam...
PANEL 4: Action shot of the two siblings walking side-by-side through a section of the dining area; Adam is holding his Leonardo figurine tightly in his left hand. You can see sections of people at the other tables to the sides and in the background, talking or doing business with each other, as well as what appears to be some type of sentient Synth-like robots enjoying their own company.
ADAM [whispering, to Amanda]: Any hint about that thing you mentioned? AMANDA [shakes her head]: No spoilers, you know it. But don't worry- you'll be fine, I promise!
PANEL 5-6: A two-part set of panels that sees the two of them take their seats in the booth in Panel 5; the back of the Hostess shown to the reader as she lays the menus in front of each of them. In Panel 6, a minute later, the worker heads off back to her station, leaving the two of them alone. You can see Adam searching via his periphery amongst the silence for any type of button to be had; all the while, the noise continues on in the same piercing level for Mr. de Connick as it had at the end of the previous page.
AMANDA [helpful, reaching underneath the table with her left hand; Panel 6]: Here...
