Golden Gate Comic Con, Chapter 3: Pages 21-22
PAGE 21
PANEL 1-2: A two-part set of panels that moves to a side shot of Adam and the metal bee currently hovering around on the left side of each panel's view. In Panel 1, he's in mid-turn reacting to the creature's high pitched robotic screech. In the next panel, moments later, the young man's fear turns to a level of confusion; his mind piecing together just what's happening.
ADAM [Cont., in a hurry lowering the flower to waist level; Panel 1]: Sorry, sorry! I didn't know it was... ADAM [realizes who it is, Panel 2]: Ohh, you're that Little Bee thing Mandy was talking about. A little on-the-nose in terms of what I thought it'd be. But...still pretty awesome! LITTLE BEE [booming, to Adam; Panel 2]: Put the flower back now, or the sT-inger will be deployed. ADAM [Panel 2, Bubble 2]: Okay, okay...I'll put it back.
PANEL 3: Same setting/layout as the previous panel. The bug flies off and out of the shot to the right. Meanwhile, Adam starts to squat down and shifts his focus to the left in order to place the cool looking flower back amongst the bouquet.
ADAM [thought bubble]: Must have been a corrupt ex-cop in its past life!
PANEL 4: Action shot of the man, with his back to the reader, placing the flower in the little hole in the bouquet where he picked it up earlier. In the foreground of the shot, you can see the base of the tree that we saw earlier in the previous page.
ADAM [curious]: My name's Adam. I'm here to see your boss...maybe your creator too, Brit by chance. BRIT [Off-Panel]: He hasn't aged a day, just like he said...
PANEL 5: Same setting as the previous panel. The layout widens after a small touch in time, with Mr. de Connick standing back up shortly after placing the flower back. He's already looking over in the direction of where the bee flew off earlier.
BRIT [Off-Panel]: Fascinating!

PANEL 1: We cut to the front desk of the store where BRIT is standing, observing the young man as he looks around and lingers around the store. She's a brown skinned woman around Amanda's age, dressed in a nice business casual type of attire; her long gray-red hair put up in a bun behind her head. Next to her, you can see the Little Bee flying next to her, watching the same scene silently.
BRIT [Cont., smirk]: My apologies, I forgot to fill Bee in on the info I got from your sister. LITTLE BEE [to Brit]: My apologies as well, young sir. I would not have been so intimidating with him if I knew you were family as well. ADAM [Off-Panel, disconcerting]: Family?! BRIT [correcting, to Adam; Bubble 2]: We're not blood family, of course. We dated for a time after her brother's passing, and before she met the sentient bucket of slime Darrell- aka, the ex-husband. ADAM [Off-Panel, Bubble 2]: I see.
PANEL 2: Same setting/layout as the previous panel. A few moments later, the metal bug remains in its same hovering position. The human Brit, however, starts to bend down and glance at a section underneath the desk as if looking for something.
LITTLE BEE [curious]: Shall I show the gentleman the location of this stuff, Ms. Brit? BRIT [shakes her head, to Little Bee]: You've done quite enough. I can handle it from here. Why don't you keep a watch over the store front while I'm away. Besides...
INT. BONDS-JOBS INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT- Half Hour Later
PANEL 3: Cut to a shot of a terminal back at the airport, moments after a flight from London has touched down. You can see a stream of people, both regular and those who seem to have spent a great deal of time with GR surgeons, exiting the plane as well as the both human and mechanical staff onboard.
BRIT [Cont., Off-Panel]: He's likely seen and experienced a great deal of weirdness already, and could stand a little bit of mental relief.
PANEL 4-6: A three-part set of panels that focuses, for the first couple of panels, on the same setting and layout as Panel 3; the crowd slowly beginning to disperse one way or another to some other unforeseen area. Then, in Panel 6, we start to see from within the middle of this a young woman with spiky hair wearing a Women of Neverwhere band t-shirt.
