Golden Gate Comic Con, Chapter 5: Pages 7-8
PAGE 7
PANEL 1: Action shot of Mr. de Connick walking away up the street to his destination; the image of his sister walking into work partially visible over his shoulder in the background. He glances over at the facade to his building, back in his own thoughts as he walks.
ADAM [thought bubble]: Hopefully, this Nerdvana place's more like early Google than late Facebook. It'd be nice if at least one part of this city that isn't just a toxic playground for rich carteras de...
INT. LOBBY, NERDVANA ENTERTAINMENT GROUP
PANEL 2: We move on a high ceiling shot looking down at the lobby to the NEG building, which isn't that dissimilar to any type of normal lobby save for a few bright little specks on the walls. You can see Adam a few feet away from the door, looking around at the area for a minute.
ADAM [thought bubble]: ...pollas.
PANEL 3-4: We move in Panel 3 to a side shot back on ground level of the young man walking across the tile floor in the direction of the front desk; his head tilted upward toward the second floor, which is visible via its railing in the top of the panel view. You can see movie posters behind him in the background. In Panel 4, a few beats later, he ducks down from a wooshing projectile diving down from the upper floor.
ADAM [Cont. thought bubble, Panel 3]: Maybe this is just how rich corporations make the lobbies of their buildings. Doesn't necessarily portend anything potentially horrible-- WORKER [to Adam, Panel 4]: Outta the way!
PANEL 5: Cut to a shot, from Adam's P.O.V., of the source of the mysterious woosh from the previous panel- the building's Mailperson riding what appears to be some type of massive hoverboard/scooter hybrid. You can see a little more of the second floor to the building in the background of the shot, including a hallway and a few doors.
ADAM [thought bubble]: Mailperson on a hoverboard...now, that could go either way!
PANEL 6: Back to a close-up of Adam a second later, getting back to his feet; the folder firmly in his right hand. In the background, you can see a section of the lobby he moved past already along with the building's front entrance.

PANEL 1-2: A two-part set of panels that cuts to a side shot of the young man moving ever closer to the building's front desk area; his eyes looking around for any type of help right now. You can see more of the lobby passing from right to left both here and in Panel 2, when he's startled by the presence of someone a distance away off-panel left.
ADAM [thought bubble, Panel 1]: I wonder if they sell these things live, or if you have to work here. Pretty good reason to work here, maybe... WOMAN [Off-Panel, to Adam in a soft voice; Panel 1]: Hello, sir...
PANEL 3: Cut to a shot of the front desk where we see a holographic image of a bust, Jessica Rabbit-like standing a few feet in front of it. She's wearing a short light blue dress, tightly clung to her body as if fulfilling the fantasy of the IT tech who created it. You can see a section of the NEG logo behind her in the background, along with a tag on her right lapel that shows her name- Jessa.
JESSA [Cont.]: Welcome to Nerdvana...how can I help you?
PANEL 4: We move to a close-up shot on Mr. de Connick, profiling his face and his shoulder area. He looks stoically at the hologram, holding his opinion on the outside while he's thinking. You can see a section of the greater lobby behind his head in the background.
ADAM [thought bubble]: Scratch that thought- not worth it. Anyone cool with this (probably out of "nostalgia") is probably a group of people that I'd rather not deal with on a daily basis. JESSA [Off-Panel]: ...Sir?
PANEL 5: Same setting/layout as the previous panel. A second after the question, Adam snaps out of his train of thought and back to the reason why he's there.
ADAM [to Jessa]: Sorry, hi. I'm--I was wondering what floor I have to go to for Golden Gate Comic Con tickets.
PANEL 6: We move back to Jessa in the same setting and layout as Panel 3. In response to the question, a decent sized map appears next to her (in English and Spanish as well as Portuguese) showing a floor-by-floor description of the building. You can see a red dot placed in the middle left area of the fourth floor.
JESSA: Fourth floor, fourth door to your right...
