PAGE 23

PANEL 1: We move to a close-up of the stage, showing the women that make up the Dapardi B's moving to their marks onstage; the band continuing the same backbeat melody in the background. They're dressed in matching shimmering crystal dresses with unique color-y flourishes that signify their unique personalities. You can also see this color scheme in the rainbow colored hairstyles they wear.

LEAD SINGER [Cont.]: We are the Dapardi B's, the finest B's you'll ever have the honor to see. If this is your first time, strap yourselves in for the best ninety minutes of your life. OTHER SINGERS [chiming in with melody; one bubble, two sources]: LEAD SINGER [Bubble 2, singing]: You gotta believe me when I tell you I said I like it like--

PANEL 2: Same setting as the previous panel, with a slightly different layout that shows the ladies in full performance mode of "I Like It"; the lead performing at this point, and the other two ladies providing melody at this point. You can see the lights onstage proudly displaying each of the B's bandmembers, giving them an almost angelic visage to the audience as a whole.

LEAD SINGER [singing]: Ahora me gustan los dólares, me gustan los diamantes. Me gusta atrofiar, me gusta brillar. Me gustan las ofertas de millones de dólares ¿Donde esta mi esfero? Perra estoy firmando

PANEL 3-5: A three-part set of panels that cuts back to Jenny and Michele in the front row of the concert. In Panel 3, we see the two of them dancing side-by-side to the music. In Panels 4 and 5, the two of them move closer and closer to one another. By the time we reach Panel 5, you can see Jenny send a flirty glance her friend's way.

SINGER #2 [singing Off-Panel, Panel 3]: Eu gosto daqueles Balenciagas, os que parecem meias SINGER #3 [singing Off-Panel, Panel 4]: I like going to the jeweler, I put rocks all in my watch I like texts from my exes when they want a second chance DAPARDI B'S [singing; Panel 4, Bubble 2]: We like proving niggas wrong, we do what they say we can't LEAD SINGER [singing, Panel 5]: We are the Dapardi B's... PANEL 6: We move to a close-up on the two of them who have now turned to face each other; their eyes locked, and the first sparks of libidinous energy that will soon grow into a fire later in the night. In the background, you can see a yellow glow tinted with hints of pink, blue and lavender that starts to block out the rest of the crowd to the reader.

INT. BEDROOM, JENNY'S APARTMENT- Morning of Golden Gate Comic Con, Day 1

PANEL 1: The colors fade, and we are left back in Jenny's bedroom the following morning. Michele and Jenny are asleep, naked after a particularly raucous night of supreme lovemaking. On the top of the panel view, you can see the fan moving around at a steady pace and providing air to the room, but not masking the sound of snoring from Ms. McKinney.

PANEL 2: We move to a close-up of Michele, sleeping on her side a few beats later; her eyes now opened upon the sound of an alarm emanating from somewhere off-panel. In the background, you can see Jenny start to shake from her slumber as a result of the alarm.

PANEL 3: Action shot showing Ms. McKinney's walking over to the bedroom door, showing her naked back half to the reader as she moves toward Lil' Jarvis (who is seen below the outlet fully charged).

JENNY [Off-Panel, to Michele]: Eggs...scrambled! Crisp turcon, cantaloupe-- MICHELE [interjecting effortlessly, to Jenny]: And lightly toasted Cinnamon Bagel...I remember. Stay and rest up, my darling...

INT. KITCHEN, JENNY'S APARTMENT- Minutes Later

PANEL 4: We move to a shot of Michele sitting over the oven, cracking open the eggs on to the skillet, dressed in a baggy shirt and a pair of comfortable underwear. You can hear the sound of music playing on in the background as she speaks, filling the room with melody.

MICHELE [Cont., caption]: I got it handled! MICHELE [to Lil' Jarvis]: So, anything interesting in the news while me and Jenny were...having X-rated fun? LIL' JARVIS [from the wrist, to Michele]: Thanks for turning my sensors off before it happened, by the way. Anyway, I'm picking up some gossip about the Vanished appearing downtown yesterday...

PANEL 5: Cut to a shot of a blogpost with a main photo of Adam walking through the front lobby of Nerdvana, taken from a security camera. The headline above it, in bold black letters, reads- "Actual Proof That 'The Vanished' Has Appeared?"

LIL' JARVIS [Cont., Off-Panel Caption]: I haven't read it, but probably the usual speculative rubbish that pops up on the Web on occasion. Sort of like those people who say Angela Bassett stays so young by bathing in the blood of the young--

MICHELE [interjecting, following on the same thought; Caption 2]: When we know she's just the human personification of the goddess Persephone. LIL' JARVIS [Caption 3]: Exactly!
