Golden Gate Comic Con, Chapter 8: Pages 7-8

PAGE 7

PANEL 1: Following action shot of the young man a few moments later, tossing the bag getntly toward the front of the bed as he passes it. In the background of the shot, you can see the screen of the CAT which is turned off at this point.

ADAM [tired, thought bubble]: Yeah, there's the sleepy...time to--

PANEL 2: Same setting/layout as the previous panel. A few moments later, his tiredness is disrupted by the CAT automatically flicking on and light flighty music bellowing out at a high volume from a speaker off-panel. You can see in the background a smattering of imagery that is hard to decipher at this point.

ADAM [startled]: GAHH!

PANEL 3-4: Cut to a shot of the screen a second later, revealing the "Welcome" channel for tourists and the like; the requisite menu of options as well as PPV stuff is seen to the right of the screen. On the left side, you can see a series of stock images of the city and its night life playing. In Panel 4, it all turns off thanks to one simple command from Mr. de Connick out of the panel's view.

NARRATOR [Panel 3]: Welcome to Alphabet Arms. To access the very latest in Hollywood blockbusters, tune to Channel 616 and-- ADAM [Off-Panel emphatically, Panel 4]: OFF! ADAM [thought bubble, Panel 4]: Wow- still as annoying as it was in 2018!

PANEL 5: Action shot of Adam, opening up the bedsheets in preparation to slip inside himself; his head turning over to the left in the direction of the CAT to speak the bulk of his command. You can see a little more of the light brown wallpaper as well as part of a dark green curtain in the background.

ADAM [Cont.]: To any AI things that might be watching me right now, if you have any type of sound machine wired in there when I go to sleep...that'd be--

INT. MICHELE'S ROOM, ALPHABET ARMS- The Next Morning

PANEL 6: Cut to a shot of Michele's room in a different part of Alphabet Arms; the layout of the panel similar to what we saw in the previous panel, with Ms. McKinney sleeping on top of the bed sheets. You can see the morning sunshine coming in from the window area, hitting as she suddenly springs from her deep slumber the young woman's pajama T-shirt which comprises of Captain America's shield, but with the letters "NC" from Bitch Planet placed where the star normally is.

MICHELE [excited yelling]: TERRIFIC!

PAGE 8

PANEL 1: We move to a frontal shot of Michele a few moments later in a seated position on the bed; her legs crossed Indian style, and her left attached hand resting on her lap. She has a very tired look on her face, as if she's barely had much sleep in the slightest because...she has.

MICHELE [groans, to Lil' Jarvis]: Told you, dude...all I needed was a brief little nap after that late night writing sesh. I'm ready to--

PANEL 2: Cut to a shot of Lil' Jarvis on the end table a second later, locked in its charging port. As it speaks, you can see a green display shoot up from the middle of the palm that shows the precise time it is- 11:10 A.M.

LIL' JARVIS [interjecting bluntly, to Michele]: It's 10 past 11 in the morning.

PANEL 3: Back to a shot of Michele in the same setting/layout as Panel 1. Her eyes suddenly grow wide with the jolt of being late for an event she wanted to go to. You can see her left hand go off her wrist, and her legs start to shift in the split second before leaping off the mattress.

MICHELE [startled/annoyed at herself]: Crap, six hours?! I missed checking out the test Beta of Marvel's new multiversal VR game!

PANEL 4: We move back to a shot of Lil' Jarvis in the same setting/layout as Panel 2 a short time later, with only a slight change in the presence of sunlight as a stray sunbeam hits the table near the metal arm; the sound of footsteps quickly moving along the floor out of panel view as it speaks.

LIL' JARVIS: Don't you get a copy of it for free from the game maker? MICHELE [Off-Panel]: Yeah, but I like seeing a game at its early incarnation. It helps educate my thoughts on it once the game comes out commercially.

PANEL 5-6: A two-part set of panels that starts in Panel 5 on a shot of the bathroom door. Michele's head is poking out of the opened doorway, along with a little bit of her shoulder. Then, in Panel 6, the door is closed as the young woman starts to get ready to turn the shower on with peace and privacy.

MICHELE [Cont., Panel 5]: Not to mention checking out the story, seeing if my favorite character's available to play off the top or if it's gonna be some NPC add-on later...c'est la vie, I guess! MICHELE [remembering something, Panel 6]: Speaking of checking things out, open up my "Food! Food! Food!" app and see if anyone delivers big honking Chili Omelettes here.
