Rock The Vouhhnn!, Chapter 2: Part 1.1

Panel 1: We open on an office a few days later. You can see a woman wearing a shirt with Phoebe Waller-Bridge's face on it. She's seated behind the desk, typing away at a computer under the glow of a lamp above her off-panel.

Panel 2: Same setting/layout as the previous panel, taken a few moments later. We hear a knock on the door, which draws the middle-aged woman up from her work.
XAVIER
(Off-Panel)
Mail call, Sue...
SUE
Any more scripts come in?
Panel 3: Cut to Xavier at the doorway, a younger black man in a pair of torn blue jeans and a faded Led Zepplin T-Shirt. As he speaks, he points over to the left with his corresponding right hand.
XAVIER
Yeah- about 9 or so. Most of 'em in Illinois, but there was a few out West.
Panel 4: Back to Sue at the desk; the setting and layout similar to what we saw in Panel 2. With her left hand, she points to an empty place on the desk as she speaks.
SUE
'Kay. Put 'em down on the desk. I'll start reading 'em in a minute.
Panel 5: Action shot of the young man walking into the office a moment later; the stack of scripts he mentioned gripped firmly in his left hand. You can hear the tapping of computer keys off-panel as this goes on.
Panel 6: Cut to a close-up of the scripts moments later after hitting the desk just where Sue had pointed. On the title page of one of the scripts in the middle of the pile, you can see Nate Kelly's name along with his address (293 Cortez Lane, Los Angeles CA).

Panel 1: Cut to a conference room inside the Democratic campaign's headquarters a few days later. Standing in front of the long oval shaped table is the campaign manager DUNCAN SIMONS with a thoroughly preturbed look on his face; some of his staff seated on both sides of the panel view.
DUNCAN
(to the staff)
I know many of you have voiced doubts about the new...guy, and the new "whisperer" who rode alongside it. I understand your concerns- hell, I share a lot of them! But the cutesy "Cautious Elephant" op-ed that hit the Lawrenceburg Herald-Tribune last night...
Panel 2: Same setting/layout as the previous panel. As the noise inside rises up with the outraged exclamations of the other staff members. You can see the "HEY!" coming out of the balloon, acting as a hard barrier to the exclamations on the top of the panel view.
DUNCAN
(Cont.)
We cannot give off the appearance of dysfunction right now. Yes, our chances may be a few inches above crap. But at the end of the day, we're professionals. We will ride this out through to November--
Panel 3: Cut to one of the low-level staffers interjecting themselves into the conversation with an (in his head) witty rejoinder. You can see a few of his co-workers chuckle a bit in agreement.
STAFFER
(interjecting, to Duncan)
'Cause no one will hire us this late in the Cycle.
Panel 4: Back to Duncan in the same setting as Panel 2, though with a slightly different layout focused a little more on the top half of his body.
DUNCAN
(retort, to Staffer)
Oh, I definitely could. You? There's always work for two-bit bloggers.
(above the laughs)
Now...
Panel 5: Same setting/layout as the previous panel. His train of thought is interrupted by the sound of a door and wheels coming from off-panel right.
DUNCAN
(authoritative)
Back to work everyone!
Panel 6: Cut to the front entrance a few moments later where we see Madison come in, wheeling Harry in the cage; the gray/rainy clouds from the street outside partially visible via the opened doorway. You can see the tablet Coni had earlier in Chapter 1 attached to the side of the cage.
