Rock The Vouhhhnn!, Chapter 2: Part 4.2
Page 47
Panel 1: We move to a snapshot of a piece of B-Roll showing Harry being wheeled across a red carpet past a mixed crowd being held back by the ZCR grunt and the limited police force.
NEWSCASTER
(Off-Panel)
The Skelton campaign suffered another blow after the Lawrencevile Tribune released its latest poll on the race for the Sixth District in Congress- the first since the "living impaired" candidate entered three weeks ago.
Panel 2: Cut to a graphic of the poll which shows Rep. Jenkins with a 25-point lead over Mr. Skelton, 55 to 30 percent.
NEWSCASTER
(Cont., Off-Panel)
It shows Skelton trailing the Congressman by 25 points, 55 to 30- a 3 percentage point drop compared to the last one with late State Senator William O'Neill was still listed as the Democratic nominee.
Panel 3: We move to a shot of the speech at the auditorium from a handful of pages ago. In particular, we see the lower half of Harry's jaw drop onto the podium.
NEWSCASTER
(Cont., Off-Panel)
The bad news comes on the heels of a disastrous opening speech at Hart Hall where Mr. Skelton's jaw dropped to the podium five minutes into his remarks. It's followed by a series of "technical snafus" that have hampered other speeches around the district, including last night at Knope High in Greendale.
Panel 4: Cut to a short time later that loops back to the B-Roll that we saw at the top of the page.
NEWSCASTER
(Cont., Off-Panel)
Rumors of potential shakeups have flared up the last couple of days online, though campaign manager Duncan Simons has rejected them as "people putting the cart before the horse."
Panel 5: We move to a shot of a Doctor in a backroom at Skelton headquarters finishing the last bit of stitching to the left side of Harry's jaw. You can see the curve of the stitching on the zombie's face from the right side to the aforementioned left.
Caption: (from the rest of the Newscaster's piece) "How long they'll be able to get away with that explanation is unsure at this moment. Now to the weather..."
Page 48
Panel 1: Same setting/layout as the last panel of the previous page. The doctor appears to finish with the last series of stitches on the zombie politico.
Panel 2: Same setting/layout as the previous panel. A few moments later, the poor doctor's jolted by Harry suddenly turning toward him and growling, letting out a scared "YELP!"
Panel 3: Cut to Madison standing up against the wall, watching the scene with curiosity and some caution. She's holding the tablet to her side, which is turned off at this point.
MADISON
(to the Doctor, shrugs)
It's just stretching- no need to Mariah Carey it!
MADISON
(reacting to Panel 4, Bubble 1; Bubble 2)
You haven't heard of it?
Panel 4: Back to the Doctor, glancing back at Ms. Mitchell while taking a step away from the creature; his right hand- holding the scalpel- moving back to his side.
DOCTOR
(confused, to Madison)
Mariah Carey it?
Panel 5: Back to Madison in the same setting/layout as Panel 3. She grins slightly, though with a level of nonchalant casualness displaying the common use of the phrase for her.
MADISON
(Cont., from Panel 3, Bubble 2)
High pitched screaming. I thought it was fitting, given the sounds you were making...
