Panel 1: Back to Nate in the same setting/layout as Panel 5 of the previous page. He nods at the statement; his mind already detaching from the conversation. You can see him glancing down peripherally at his phone at this moment.

NATE

(thought bubble)

Oh, please let this conversation- or this traffic jam end!

Panel 2: In a similarly awkward pause, we see Madison a few days after we last saw her in Page 58. She's sitting down against a wall writing away on an old notebook. You can see the tablet turned off lying next to her to the right.

Panel 3: Same setting as the previous panel. The layout widens slightly to take in more of the wall a short time after the action of Panel 2. Above her head on the wall is pages from the notebook laying out part of her dream plan- media strategies, policies based on district data, etc.

Panel 4: Same setting/layout as the previous panel. The new writing is interrupted by the sound of a door opening off-panel right; her gaze moving up from the notebook in the same direction.

Panel 5: Cut to a shot of Aimee stepping out of the Comms Director's office. She has a smile on her face, looking back to exchange pleasantries with the man who is out of view.

Panel 1: We move back to Madison a few moments later, noticing Aimee as she walks past her. You can see a little glint of hope in her eyes, waiting for the signal of approval on what they discussed earlier.

Panel 2: A three-part set of panels that moves back to Aimee at roughly the same time. She sees Madison down on the ground for the first time; her right upstage hand just beginning to move upward.

Panel 3: In Part 2, she seemingly is ready to give the signal to her work friend. Just as she does though...

Panel 4: In Part 3, the young woman's hands flatten out into a "Meh" type declaration. Which is confirmed by an equally unsure look on her face.

Panel 5: Back to Madison in the same setting/layout as Panel 1. As Aimee walks further out of her view, you can see a look of confusion and annoyance in response to the inconclusive answer.
