Rock The Vouhhhnn!, Chapter 3: Part 4.2
Page 74
Panel 1: We move back to Madison on the other end of the line a few moments later; the phone lifting slightly off of her ear as the uproarious laughter from James fills the receiver and echoes into the room.
MADISON
(agreeing nod)
Drained, bordering on overwhelmed, desiring to sleep for a month- all of the yep! At least until a few minutes ago...
Panel 2: Cut back to James in the same setting/layout as Panel 4 of the previous page. The statement catches his intrigue, and he takes a single step leftward as he speaks.
JAMES
What happened then?
MADISON
(correcting, through the receiver)
Nothing concrete yet. At this point, it's more of a hunch with a bare bit of fact...
Panel 3: Back to Madison who crouches back down slightly, scrolling back at the ARC homepage on her laptop as she speaks.
MADISON
(Cont.)
Have you heard of a group called ARC?
JAMES
(through the receiver)
Can't say I have, no.
MADISON
(Bubble 2)
They're a lobbying group out of D.C. They work mostly on the coasts- agriculture, farming, etc. Part of me's thinking they have a role somehow in HB 44.
Panel 4: We cut back to Rep. Brock in the same setting/layout as Panel 2. He's standing still, a little more intrigued by the story than was visible then.
JAMES
You have any proof?
MADISON
(through the receiver)
Not yet. But I...
Panel 5: Cut back to Madison a split second after the end of her statement in Panel 4. She's spotted something intriguing on one part of the page that elicits a brimming rush of excitement in her eyes.
MADISON
Son. Of. A. BITCH!
JAMES
(through the receiver)
Maddie?
Panel 6: Back to James a second later, confused again by the sudden comment and looking for some type of answer to the random comment from the end of Panel 5.
JAMES
What is it? You find something?
Caption: (Sound Effect, under the phone) "CLICK!"

Panel 1: We move back to Madison in an over-the-shoulder shot a few minutes later, typing away in a feat of creative inspiration. As was the case earlier, the laptop screen is split between the document and the bottom of the webpage, which shows a well-dressed man just below middle aged by the name of WILLIAM JENKINS.
Caption: (Madison) "His brother...oh, this is golden!"
Panel 2: Cut to a shot from the screen looking up at the young woman moments later. From the bottom left of the panel view, there's a vibration emanating from her phone.
Panel 3: Cut to a shot of the phone screen, showing a text from James reading- "Good luck Maddie- love you to bits!"
Panel 4: We move to Madison's face a split second later, smiling at the message warmly; the ivory white of her apartment's ceiling visible in the background.
Caption: (from the Reporter) "Thank you for the exclusive..."
Panel 5: Cut to a reporter seated in a TV studio the following morning. She's dressed in a light blue pantsuit with red hair. The middle aged woman fixes the wireless mic pinned to her lapel as she speaks.
REPORTER
(Cont., to Madison)
It's a big moment for the station, landing an interview with a local celebrity with a big national profile. There's a pool we started with the other reporters since your candidate jumped in a little over a month ago.
REPORTER
(Bubble 2; reacting to Panel 6, Bubble 1)
The number of people maimed before someone caps him in the head. I've got it at 9.
Panel 6: Back to Madison in front of her, testing the integrity of the cage that Henry is being kept in. As the reporter does, she's not looking directly at her as she speaks.
MADISON
(mildly curious, to Reporter)
Oh cool! What's the pool on?
