Rock The Vouhhhnn!, Chapter 6: Part 3.2
Page 143 (Chapter 6, Page 15)
Panel 1: Back to Carol, flashing a slight grin connected to Nate’s previous line at the end of the previous page. She takes a half-step over to the right of the panel view as she speaks.
CAROL
(Cont.)
But the county Health Office is closing the story for an indefinite period of time while they test if this particular mold has that bug attached to it.
Panel 2: We move back to Mr. Kelly a beat later, absorbing the news as effectively as he can. You can see him start to lean over to the side in terms of the direction he walks.
NATE
‘Kay. How long is “indefinite,” I ask with a great deal of apprehension?
CAROL
(from the speaker) I’ve been on the head office’s ass the past couple of hours as well as the county, asking the same thing- no clue either end.
Panel 3: Back to Carol in a similar type of action shot that we saw in Panel 1. She glances up toward the sky, trying to gleam as much positivity as she can from the situation.
CAROL
(Cont.) On the plus side though, they’re paying us 90% of salary while we’re closed. Yeah, it’s only up to 4 months, but still...
Panel 4: We move back to Nate who, having stopped walking, is standing within a few feet of the side of one of the buildings to the right of the panel view. He glances down to the ground with a weary look, similar to what Carol showed earlier in the page.
CAROL
(Cont., from the speaker)
Money is money.
NATE
Yeah...yeah.
Panel 5: Same setting/layout as the previous panel. There’s a brief moment of pause in the conversation, though it doesn’t actually come to an end at this point. You can see the shadow of someone plopping down on the young man from off-panel.

(Zoe)
Do you not remember what our parents and ancestors taught us when we’re young enough to explore the Web?

Panel 1: We move back to campaign HQ where we see Madison standing in front of a table which has her tablet resting on top of it. In the distance of the shot, you can see Zoe looking on in front of the couch.
ZOE
(Cont., to Madison)
Don’t look at the comment section!
MADISON
(shakes her head, to Zoe)
I’m not! I’m looking at the counter above the comment section.
Panel 2: Slight close-up on Ms. Mitchell’s face a beat later, focused intently on the numbers on the computer screen. You can see a ceiling fan moving at medium pace above her in the background.
MADISON
(Cont.)
We’re at a couple hundred now. If it gets to 10,000 or more, then I think we’ll know we’ve got a good viral ad that can do some damage.
Panel 3: Back to Zoe in a similarly framed close-up shot. She nods at part of her friend’s logic, though still unsure upon other bits that she talks about. You can see part of a TV screen behind her over her left shoulder.
ZOE
I get the thought behind it. But there’s one problem- not everyone’s as latched on to the Web as they were pre-Outbreak. Besides, a political ad going viral is next to impossible. Even when the campaign’s--
Panel 4: Same setting/layout as the previous panel. A moment later, she tilts her head to the side with puzzlement at the sound of a loud ringtone coming from Maidson’s electronic device.
ZOE
What the hell was that?
Panel 5: Back to Madison turning her head to the side to address her friend with a grin permeated a little by a twitch in terms of the noise. You can see the tablet screen showing the counter in the lower corner of the panel.
MADISON
Just a ringtone. It goes off whenever it breaks a particular threshold view wise. That would be a thousand.
Panel 6: Same setting/layout as the previous panel. She turns back to the screen a few moments later, looking down as the ringtone chimes two more times; a steadily growing smile watching the view counter once again.
MADISON
Ten thousand…
(Bubble 2, a moment later)
Hundred thousand…
