Rock The Vouhhhnn!, Chapter 6: Part 4.3
Page 151 (Chapter 6, Page 23)
Panel 1: We move back to Desiree, nodding slightly at the spirit of her friend’s statement; the schedule in her hand is pressed against the side of her body as she speaks.
DESIREE
Ah, to be a fly on the wall when the gringo meets Leela...you will give me the full details when/if that happens?
Panel 2: Back to Rowena in the same setting/layout as the end of the previous page. She changes her body position slightly; her hand reaching out to one of the document piles to grab something.
ROWENA
(confident nod)
Of course, Dee. But it won’t be as chaotic as it was with Vijay. For starters…
Panel 3: We move back to Nate where we left him last time minutes later. This time, however, he’s typing up something on the keyboard. You can see a calmer, slightly more optimistic gleam in his eyes and body language compared to that aforementioned time.

(Cont., Rowena)
“He’s not an immense douche weasel!”
Panel 4: Cut to a shot of the screen, showing that it’s an E-Mail to Rachelle regarding the script she sent. The main body of the message that we see is- “I’m in. When is the first rehearsal?” From off-panel right, you can hear the vibration of his cell phone signifying another text coming his way.

Panel 1: Back at HQ, later that night after the podcast interview, we see Zoe going into the refrigerator and pulling out a can of something called Cherry Vodka from inside. She glances over at her friend with a fairly optimistic look on her face.
ZOE
(to Madison)
That felt pretty good. A few hiccups here and there, but not the absolute worst.
Panel 2: Same setting/layout as the previous panel. A few moments later, with both cans in her right hand, she closes the door without looking with her left hand. You can see a playful grin pop up on her face, walking back in her friend’s direction.
ZOE
(Cont.)
Agreed. Now, on to other important campaign business: you and Jocelyn- I need all the glorious tea.
Panel 3: Cut to Ms. Mitchell on the couch, typing something up on her tablet and only glancing up at Zoe’s direction. She has a calm, somewhat aloof look on her face as she speaks.
MADISON
Not much “tea” to talk about. We dated years ago back when I first arrived in D.C. She didn’t like my Ace-ness, and we amicably broke up.
Panel 4: Back to Zoe shaking her head slightly, stepping away from the kitchenette toward the living room area; her smile before has mellowed a little bit as a result of the previous panel’s statement.
ZOE
Ugh, that sucks. Awesome it didn’t end messily, but still- you’d think, given all the progress we’ve made sexually, that people would be more open to Aces.
Panel 5: A two-part set of panels that moves back to Madison in the same setting/layout as Panel 3. As we saw her in that aforementioned panel, she’s typing away at something, shrugging slightly at Zoe’s last statement.
MADISON
I’ve noticed idiocy is kind of humanity’s default on a lot of different things. Especially with sex…
Panel 6: In part 2, a beat later, she looks back up at Zoe (whose shadow faintly is cast over her in the panel view) with a friendly grin on her face.
MADISON
(Cont.)
Present company excluded!
Page 152 (Chapter 6, Page 25)
Panel 1: Action shot of Madison reaching out to grab one of the cans of Cherry Vodka from Zoe; the tablet shifting slightly on her lap, though not enough for it to slip off.
ZOE
During the interview, I came up with a whole host of ideas for new follow-up ads hitting different topics- the economy, environment. Now’s a good time to start to widen the lense in terms of our policy scope.
MADISON
Good. Shouldn't we be focusing on getting a debate with the Congressman, too? They've been stonewalling us since day 1!
Panel 2: Back to Zoe lingering a small distance away from her friend, opening her can of booze. She gazes up toward the ceiling in a moment of thought connected to Ms. Mitchell's question.
ZOE
True. But I think we should start to build a little more momentum before we can hammer the need for debates. Once we get that, then we can up the pressure--
Panel 3: Same setting/layout as the previous panel. Her train of thought is interrupted a moment later by the sound of her ringing phone emanating from her left jean pocket, which she glances down at.
Panel 4: Back to Madison moments later in the same setting as Panel 1; the layout has changed, focusing more on the young woman who's taking a sip of her can. She looks on with a twinge of curiosity.
MADISON
More money coming our way?
ZOE
(Off-Panel)
No...
Panel 5: Cut to a close-up of Ms. Olson's face a moment after her statement from the previous panel. You can see a bubbling sense of excitement come over her; her mouth slightly agape prior to an equally beaming smile.
ZOE
(Cont.)
...Something much bigger than that!
