Rock The Vouhhhnn!, Chapter 8: Part 4.2
Page 198 (Chapter 8, Page 21)
Panel 1: A three-part set of panels that outlines the type of stuff Mr. Turner was referring to at the end of the previous page. At the first part, we see what appears to be real-time video footage from a battle scene during the Wars. The background behind it places it somewhere in western North Carolina.

“After skimming through that for a bit, I got out the footage that came from DoD…”
Panel 2: In part 2, we see a separate window appear showing a snapshot of Henry on the stump somewhere from the past; the other window of footage paused, split off toward the left of the screen.

(Cont., Austin)
“Then took in a little bit of our undead opponent from the stump- especially the facial. Blended ‘em together, and…
Panel 3: In part 3, the same as the one we saw back at the top of the page, we see the lead zombie that was behind a great deal of the damage inflicted on the soldiers has the same face as Mr. Skelton.

“Bingo bango bongo!”
Panel 4: Back to Austin where we last left him near the end of the previous page. He tilts his head over to the side, flashing a look of acquiescence connected toward his previous loose display.
MACY (from the receiver, to Austin)
“Bingo bango bongo?”
AUSTIN
(explanatory, to Macy)
I did a relaxing mini binge of The Sopranos last night. Kinda just stuck in my…
MACY
(interjecting)
Don’t care. How long will the ad be ready?
Panel 5: Back to Macy backstage at the rally. She listens to the answer with a great deal of calm in her eyes, watching as the rally comes to an end in front of her. You can hear the sounds of cheerful music in the background.
AUSTIN
(from the receiver)
Not too long- I’m just going through some final edits. I can send you the ad after I’m finished, and you can bounce it to Shaw over at Comms.
MACY
Sounds good. I’ll fill the boss in once he’s done with the Q&A portion.
AUSTIN
(Bubble 2)
Th--Thank you, boss. Could you also…?
Page 199 (Chapter 8, Page 22)
Panel 1: Same setting/layout as the last panel of the previous page. Macy immediately ends the call before he could finish the rest of his question; her eyes already shifting to a point off-panel right.
Panel 2: We move to an action shot of Macy and the Congressman walking side-by-side toward the exit, conferring over the speech and other campaign related stuff. You can see some of the techies in the background striking the stage as well as the people heading off/chatting following the rally.
MACY
(genuine, to Rep. Jenkins)
Excellent speech, Congressman! The crowd had a good energy there, I noticed.
REP. JENKINS
(slight nod and a grin; to Macy)
Agreed. It felt good...the speech boys have really been on their A-game lately.
MACY
(Bubble 2) I’ll send Shaw the regards at the next conference call.
Panel 3: Cut to a slight close-up on Mr. Jenkins a moment later, turning his head slightly to the woman; the grin disappearing from his face for the most part.
REP. JENKINS
(back to business)
Any news on the poll we sent out yesterday?
Panel 4: Back to Macy on the other side a split second after the end of the previous panel. She nods affirmatively at the question, glancing up toward the ceiling in a brief bit of contemplation as she speaks.
MACY
Still another 3 hours before they can finalize it. But the buzz I’m hearing is all good for us.
Panel 5: Cut back to the Congressman; the same setting and layout as Panel 4. You can see the smile he had earlier return, but in brighter focus than before. The background behind them is about the same as it was for Ms. O’Ryan in the previous panel.
REP. JENKINS
Fantastic. Maybe we won’t need to magic bullet the little ghoul through the dome before election day.
MACY
(Off-Panel)
Speaking of that…
Panel 6: Back to Macy as they near the end of the hallway leading to the exit doors. As she speaks, you can see a knowing smile come over her face connected to the rest of her statement.
MACY
(Cont.)
What if I could tell you we could do both?
