Rock The Vouhhhnn!, Chapter 9: Part 2.1
Page 208 (Chapter 9, Page 7)
Panel 1: Cut to an action shot of Ms. Mitchell a few moments later, taking her shot on that opening hole. You can see a little section of people crossing behind her from left to right and vice versa in the background.
STEVIE
(floating in the upper half of the panel from the headphones)
“Seize...upon the moment of long ago
One breath away and there will you be...”
Panel 2: We jump a little later in the night at the 3rd hole. Zoe is lining up for another shot; a clear path seemingly to the hole in front of her. In the top half of the panel view, you can see what looks like a rock lying on the course.
STEVIE
(Cont., as in Panel 1 without the headphones)
“So young and carefree again
You will see that place in time…”
Panel 3: Same setting/layout as the previous panel. After taking the shot, the ball- on its way to the hole- is conked wildly off course by the rock which is actually a drone on an automated lineup.
STEVIE
(Cont., as in Panel 2)
“That place in time
So gold”
Panel 4: On the 5th hole, with a slightly smaller than scale version of the Milano to the right of the panel view, we see Madison hitting her opening shot. You can see her ball quickly scrolling down the bottom of the panel view.
STEVIE
(Cont., as it was in Panel 3)
“Steal...away into that way back when
You thought that it would all last forever…”
Panel 5: A two-part set of panels that follows the ball which seemingly is on the path to getting in the hole. You can see the bottom of the ship in the top half of the panel, alongside the waft of the lyrics.
STEVIE
(Cont., as it was in Panel 4)
“But like the weather nothing can ever…”
Panel 6: In part 2, we see a figurine Drax drop down with a toy sword attached to its hand, which slightly bonks the ball away from its path over to the right in a slight hook curve.
DRAX TOY
Hahahaha…
STEVIE
(Cont., as it was in Panel 5)
“And be in time
Stay gold…”

Panel 1: We move to an action shot of the two of them lining up on the 11th hole. Zoe looks over the hole with a surprisingly enthused look on her face. Madison, meanwhile, is looking over the scorecard carefully; her eyes looking up slightly in order to make sure she’s on the right path.
ZOE
Not gonna lie, this has been surprisingly fun.
MADISON
You’re shooting a +6.
ZOE
(Bubble 2)
A personal best! I also clocked that douchebag in the back of the head on 8.
Panel 2: We move to a slight close-up of Ms. Mitchell’s face, looking up from the scorecard with a slight smirk and chuckle on her face remembering the moment.
MADISON
(to Zoe)
That was a pretty cool moment. At least till you tripped and fell on the bush.
Panel 3: Cut to Ms. Olson who smiles and nods at the statement; a touch of defensiveness in her response. You can see that she breaks a few steps ahead of her friend, lining up the first shot of the hole.
ZOE
Yeah, not a great moment. Still worth it though…!
Panel 4: A two-part set of panels that focuses on Zoe as she reaches the hole. In the first part, you can see her bending down to place the ball on the left side of the tee; a smattering of people walking on the green of other holes in the background.
Panel 5: In the second part, a few moments later, the woman is back standing upright; the head of her club lined up with the ball a second before she’s set to hit. Off-panel left, you can see the sound effect of a muffled ringing phone popping in.
