Rock The Vouhhhnn!, Chapter 9: Part 4.2
Page 221 (Chapter 9, Page 21)
Panel 1: Cut to an action shot of Ms. Mitchell after ending her call a short time later, walking down the hallway toward the backstage area; a sense of confidence masking an inner anxiety bubbling in the pit of her stomach. You can see on the walls portraits of some of the performers that have played the venue in the past.

(Cont., Madison) “That’s kind of the fun of politics- the hope that your ideas can somehow, someway connect with people.”
Panel 2: A short time later, we see her in a small bulletproof booth right at the edge of the backstage area. One of the techs, noticing Madison’s arrival, starts to leave the area toward another task they’re being directed to.
Panel 3: We move to a side shot of the young woman stepping through the partially opened area into the booth. With her free hand, she turns the tablet on. Before it loads up, there’s a voice calling from off-panel left.
ZOE
(Off-Panel, to Madison)
Nice scarf…
Panel 4: Cut to a shot of Ms. Olson from just over Madison’s shoulder, standing a few feet in front of her with a smile on her face. You can see a little bit of action in the background from other techs passing by, wheeling Henry into position toward the stage off-panel left.
MADISON
(to Zoe)
Thanks…
ZOE
You ready?

Panel 1: We move to a shot of Madison’s face a moment later with a coy, nervous smile on her face as she replies. You can see a little bit of the interior of the booth with its mini desk and stool in the background.
MADISON
To do something I’ve dreamt about doing since middle school? Ehh…
Panel 2: Same setting as the previous panel. The layout widens a little bit more to show her shrugging her shoulders; an uneasy, yet ultimately optimistic, look on her face as she speaks.
MADISON
(Cont.)
70% ready, give or take.
Panel 3: Cut to Zoe flashing a bit of a curious eyebrow at the end of her statement, touched by some worry in terms of what she said.
ZOE
You need me to snag your headphones from the green room?
Panel 4: Madison shakes her head at the question; the setting and layout similar to what we saw in Panel 2. Compared to that aforementioned panel, she’s a little more composed with the same level of optimism inside.
MADISON
It’s recharging. Couldn’t bring it if I wanted to.
Panel 5: A two-part set of panels that start out with Zoe pondering the dilemma to herself. The background is similar to Panel 3, though has changed slightly as other techs move in from the right of the panel view behind her.
ZOE
Hmm…I got an idea to help ease any nerves.
Panel 6: In part 2, moments later, she looks back up from the floor to her friend; the metaphysical light bulb popping over her head.
ZOE
(Cont., trying to remember)
What was that weird old song that drunk guy sang at that bar Nikolaj in Columbus?
