Panel 1: The morning sun drifts into the room from off-panel left, hitting the face of SEANNA WATKINS. At this moment, an alarm blares in waking them up at this point.

"I've had a strong love-hate relationship with Dr. Manhattan from pretty much the first moment I read Watchmen."

(Cont., Seanna)
"On one side, there's the really cool superpowers and the immortality thing: all which I'd love to have."
Caption
(Cont., Seanna)
"Also the feeling of otherness being genderfluid and asexual. Not to mention the detached observation of humanity, which- same (though not as reflexively pessimistic)."
Panel 2: Action shot of Seanna a short time later, searching through his closet for his uniform; the weariness of slumber still hanging around the edges of their eyes.

(Cont., Seanna)
"On the other hand, he's also a thoroughly inconsiderate jerk devoid of any semblance of creativity with a not-so-great track record with women to boot."
Caption
(Cont., Seanna)
"Whether it's cheating on his wife with a teenage girl for the crime of getting old. Or killing a pregnant woman in Vietnam for no real reason. Or basically raping his girlfriend using clones."
Caption
(Cont., Seanna)
"Don't get me started about Ozymandias. The whole of his timeline stretched before him, and he couldn't sense something off earlier with that semi-competent Elon Musk?"
Panel 3: Cut to a stylized flashback of Ozymandias being 'ported in a light blue flash of energy, coinciding with Seanna's monologue.

(Cont., Seanna)
"If I were him, I'd have dumped ol' Ozzy on Pluto the moment I saw him in that Minutemen meeting- timeline and storyline be damned!"
Caption
(Cont., Seanna)
"Anyway...these days, it's firmly in the love column- particularly his powers."
Panel 4: After going through the shower, we see Watkins at a dinner table quickly eating breakfast and watching TV. They're mixed race with long blonde hair and blue eyes and masculine facial features. They're wearing a dark long sleeved shirt; the logo of the supermarket barely visible on their chest next to the two necklaces they're wearing. You can see a little section of the kitchen behind them in the background.

(Cont., Seanna)
"The ability to teleport back and forth from work without dealing with people...never gonna stop being appealing."
Panel 5: Same setting/layout as the previous panel. A few moments later, they turn toward the right upon hearing someone calling to them.
ANNA
(Off-Panel)
Your mask's ready, hon...
Caption
(Cont., Seanna)
"And I can help my mom out by materializing gold out of thin air."
Panel 6: Cut to a shot of ANNA, Seanna's mother [early 50s, female, white, average build], standing a distance from them. She's moving over to her office as she speaks.
Caption
(Cont., Seanna)
"She's done enough for me since my dad died as a baby, making sure we had a decent home and food in our stomach."
ANNA
(Cont., to Seanna)
I left it on the hook next to the door.
SEANNA
(Off-Panel)
Thanks, Mom...

"A nice dream, to be sure. Unfortunately, it's not my life at the moment. That is work and online school stuff and...trying not to die of a brand new, deadly virus."

Panel 1: Action shot minutes later of Seanna with his big dark blue purse walking through the walkway on a bus, looking around for a seat; their mask over their face- the SHIELD logo painted with Asexual Pride colors.
Caption
(Cont., Seanna narrating)
"All while keeping a strong faith in humanity."
SEANNA
(thought bubble)
Whoever's up there right now, please keep the stupid away.
Panel 2: Cut to a shot from their POV of the passengers inside the bus- a mix of races, genders, and body types where mask wearing is roughly about half.
Caption
(Cont., Seanna thought bubble)
"My head's pounding, and I don't really have the patience for it here."
Panel 3: A two-part set of panels that moves back to Seanna approaching the midway part of the bus. You can see them clutching the strap on his purse as they walk; a look of cautious relief on their face.
SEANNA
(thought bubble)
Yay! Now, for a little Pandora--
Panel 4: In the second part, a few moments later, a statement coming from the off-panel left section elicits a pained grimace on the young person's face.
PASSENGER
(Off-Panel, to Seanna)
Nice bag, fag!
SEANNA
(thought bubble)
Spoke too soon...!
Panel 5: A few moments later, they sit down at an empty seat away from the jerky passenger. You can see a section of the city slowly starting to move as the bus revs back up again.
SEANNA
(thought bubble)
I'm not sure what's sadder- the dated slur, or the fact he probably thought--
Panel 6: Cut to a stylized shot of the passenger a few moments after making his comment in Panel 4. He's a stubbled maskless douchebro with jeans and a tanktop that reads "The Virus is a Plot to make the world gay"
PASSENGER
(proud of himself)
I'M A GENIUS!

"Whatever it is..."
