Panel 1: Brie stands in the center of the time platform a short time later, with the suitcases on both sides of them, as the machine once again powers up.
BRIE
(remembers something) Hey Jodie, before I go, there's one song from my all-time fav playlist I want you to play. I can't remember the title, but it goes
(musical notes) Da daa da dumm...
JODW
(Off-Panel; from the ceiling) I know just the song you're talking about...!
Panel 2: Same setting/layout as the previous panel, just as the song kicks off. The familiar melody elicits a feeling of joy and peace in the young person's face as the energy reaches its peak in preparation to unleash.
SINGER
Ah ah oh oh oh
Ah ah oh oh oh oh oh oh I can hear you but I won't
Some look for trouble while others don't...
Panel 3: As the energy bathes the room once more, sending our protagonist a thousand years back into the past, a flashing red comes into view amidst the music from the panel right.
SINGER
(Cont.) There's a thousand reasons I should go about my day
And ignore your whispers which I wish would go away,
oh oh oh...
Panel 4: Close-up on a tablet a couple of seconds after the natural lighting of the room resumes. It shows an alarm set to Brie's tablet about an "Unidentified Flying Object entering atmosphere," followed by a series of ground level coordinates nearby.
SINGER
(Cont.) Ah ah oh oh
Oh oh
Ah ah oh oh...
Panel 5: We jump back to January 1, 2000; the same rush of energy reappears in a patch of water near the shore. You can see little flashes of color from the sky, along with the whooping cheers of people.

BRIE
(Off-Panel) I'm here, and alive--thank the Goddess!
Panel 6: Brie looks up in the sky a few moments after arriving, taking in their surroundings while also trying their damndest to keep their head straight amidst the cheers and fireworks.
BRIE
(Cont., nervous smile) Could've done better with the navigational array.

Panel 1: Snapshot of the gorgeous fireworks display going on just outside of the Santa Monica Pier, along with (more in the distance) other parts of L.A. County nearby.

(Cont., Brie)
"Not a bad visual to start a story as big as this- hopefully- will be."
Panel 2: Action shot of Mx. Benoit swimming as well as they possible could amidst toward the shoreline, clutching onto the suitcases as a sort of raft; the fireworks partly visible in the distance, changing colors compared to the previous panel.
