Panel 1: We jump thousands of miles away on a snow covered field in the middle of Finland. On an icy yet plowed road, with the frozen Perameri in the background, a Soviet truck drives along with a ton of equipment at the ready.

February 27th, Night- on a road south of Oulu, Finland

Panel 2: Cut to an interior shot of the driver's seat, showing a farmer trying to navigate their way back to their land; the glow of the headlights partially illuminating their face.

(from the radio, translated from Finnish)

--And now with the news at 11 P.M. There's growing pressure on President Mannerheim to return to Helsinki after more damaging testimony came to light in the "war guilt" trial...

Panel 3: Same setting/layout as the previous panel. The radio signal becomes suddenly garbled by the presence of a bright white light piercing the sky.

Panel 4: Suddenly, there's an explosion of yellow and white not that far off the road from the truck, causing it to swerve hard to the left to avoid the sudden rush of white pouring in from off-panel right.

Panel 5: Action shot of the truck moments later as it crashes, flipping over multiple times on its way to complete destruction.

Page 24 Panel 1: A three-part set of panels that focuses on the impact site just as the crash from the end of the previous page comes to an end. You can see the lake from the top of said page in the background.

Panel 2: In the second part, there's a slight zoom toward the center of the panel; a small cloud of black smoke drifting in from the right of the panel view.

Panel 3: In the third and final part, as more of the smoke enters the shot, you can see the faint shadow of a wooden door to a massive tree stretching upward in the center of the panel view.
