Old Scars, Chapter 3: Part 1.1

Panel 1: We open on Sym reappearing from their portal moments after the last time we saw them in the previous issue. They start to reach inside their coat; their eyes peeled out in the panel right direction.
SYM
(relieved, thought bubble) Shouldn't be too long before I find their cell and...
Panel 2: Suddenly, the rocky background around the faeman starts to get distorted and melt away.
SYM
(looking around, surprised) What in the...?
Panel 3: They look down and notices for the first time that they're seemingly walking in place without really going anywhere.
SYM
(realization) They must have shrouded the prison area in a time distortion spell. Shouldn't be surprised the KGB would dabble in such base level magic.
(Bubble 2)
What if I try...?
Panel 4: A two-part set of panels that starts out a beat later as they take to the ceiling, flapping their wings as hard as they can.
Panel 5: In the second part, a few moments later, they're flung backwards by a mysterious force without making any type of forward progress.
Panel 6: Sym touches back down on the ground a short time later; their face showing a great deal of frustration at the whole thing. Like the first panel, you can see them reach inside their coat pocket to pull something out as they speak.
SYM
(thinking) ****...That proved a pointless enterprise!

Panel 1: Grem, meanwhile, is being speared by the vukodlak through a window outside the precinct a short time later; a spray of glass shooting out in every direction.

(Cont., Sym)
"Hopefully, Mr. Grem is having considerably better luck against the vukodlak."
Panel 2: They land with a considerably hard (for Mr. Allen) "THUD!" on the concrete ground moments later. You can see the scars and screams of pain in the immortal Irishman's eyes.
Panel 3: A three-part set of panels that focuses on a close-up of Grem lunging off the ground a few moments later, slashing at the creature's face.
Panel 4: In the second part, back on his feet, he drops the chunk of glass and rares back with a punch connected to the attack.
VUKODLAK
(respectful, to Grem; translated from Russian) Your spirit is...quite admirable, Irishman.
Panel 5: Action shot of the creature, locking Grem's arm into a bar; his body in preparation for the finishing move.
VUKODLAK
(Cont.) Ultimately, it will prove for naught against the spirit of a pure blooded Russian. You could try a million times on a million different fields of battle.
Panel 6: We move to another action shot of him moments later, flinging the young/old man with as much strength as he can a dozen feet forward.

(Cont., Vukodlak)
"This is how it would end...every time!"
