Page 125 Panel 1: The fight stops a few beats later, long enough for Grem to try to get himself back to his feet. You can see the Fragarach lying on the ground in the bottom of the panel view.

GREM

(thinking) Mmmm...how familiar are you with the sport of Pohoja?

Panel 2: Close-up on Mr. Allen's face just as he gets to his feet, explaining the detail of the sport a beat later. You can see faintly a hurler player in action over his shoulder.

GREM

(Cont.) It's sorta like Bandy, if it were played on a football pitch.

GREM

(Bubble 2; reacting to Panel 3, Bubble 1) Aye, that's true...

Panel 3: Louhi flashes a half-grin of intrigue at the offer, seeking a little more information at the moment.

LOUHI

I know the sport, and I'm okay with playing it. In terms of stakes, what you'll win has been fairly well established.

LOUHI

(Bubble 2; reacting to Panel 2, Bubble 2) What will be my prize if I best you?

Panel 4: The immortal Irishman looks on with certainty and a concealed sense of fear hidden amidst it all in terms of the answer.

GREM

You win...I forfeit the rest of my life, in service to you and your admittedly noble cause.

Panel 5: The sorceress is pleased by the offer, giving a slight nod in agreement to the proposal. You can see the sparks of magical energy pop in off-panel as she speaks.

LOUHI

I happily accept...

Panel 6: Cut to a shot of the two of them being teleported out of the room a few moments later; smoke rising up to the ceiling at the top of the panel view.

Panel 1: We move to a wide shot of the two of them reappearing on a perfect approximation of a Hurler pitch; the stands barren at this point.

Panel 2: Cut to a shot of Louhi standing on one side of the pitch to bark out the rules one last time. As she speaks, you can see the rest of her team pop up in their respective positions.

LOUHI

First to 10 is the victor acceptable to you?

LOUHI

(Bubble 2; reacting to Panel 3, Bubble 1) They're not humans ripped from Earth. They're merely denizens of a dimension with humanoid/steel hybrids.

Panel 3: At the same time, we see Grem on the other side giving a slight nod as he listens; the same type of appearance of teammates showing up in the background as he speaks.

GREM

Works for me. Quick question, out of curiosity- are your teammates...?

Panel 4: Same setting as the previous panel, with a slight close-up on Mr. Allen's face at the appearance of the last player who pops up with a "WHUMP!" that shakes the scene ever so slightly.

GREM

(wide eyed, worried) Ha...right!

(thought bubble) That's gonna be a source of bloody pain!

Panel 5: Cut to a shot of Grem and Louhi on the center of the pitch, lining up for the face-off with the ref dead center of the panel view. You can see part of the massive golem Louhi made issues ago to the right of the panel area.

REFEREE

Ready...

Panel 6: Action shot of both sticks clashing a split second later for the ball as it hits the ground; the sound of the whistle blowing in off-panel from the top right corner.
