Old Scars, Chapter 6: Part 4.3
Page 145 Panel 1: A few days later, back in Helsinki, we see T and Grem back outside the newsstand (which is seen in the background). They each share their respective goodbyes after all they've been through.
T
Well. This has been an interesting adventure.
GREM
(chuckles) Indeed it has...sorry about the upkeep of your Sex Armors.
T
(Bubble 2) Don't worry about it. Gives me more time to deal with the 2.0 version before next year.
Panel 2: Slight close-up on T a beat later, shifting to another point of thought in the conversation.
T
(Cont.) So, what's next for you?
Panel 3: Grem shrugs at the question, glancing down slightly toward the right corner of the panel view as he speaks.
GREM
Don't know, more times than no. Outside of drinks with a pair of dear friends. That and finishing up your spare ADU. What about you?
Panel 4: The young person flashes an equally ponderous gaze at the question, tinged with the same casual nonchalance Grem showed in the previous panel.
T
The usual stuff, I guess. Help my sis out, live life. A bit hard not to be bored by the whole of it.
T
(Bubble 2; reacting to Panel 5, Bubble 1) Thanks, though I doubt I'll need it. If you find yourself here, promise me you'll have some knowledge how to speak Finnish or Fronary.
Panel 5: The immortal Irishman nods with some semblance of empathy to their cause; a slight grin coming over the right side of his face as he speaks.
GREM
You've got my comm if you ever want some excitement, or more supernatural weirdness hits your town.
GREM
(Bubble 2; reacting to Panel 4, Bubble 2) You have my word.
Panel 6: Action shot of the two of them sharing a nice hug with one another a beat later.

(Miriam)
"Sounds like you had a lot of fun!"

Panel 1: Cut to a shot of Miriam back at the encampment in Bombay after having listened to the story. You can see in the bottom of the panel a half-drunk glass of tea.
MIRIAM
(Cont., light chuckle) We had our own bit of creature weirdness here in Bombay. Though the town defenses were able to keep them back with minimal damage.
MIRIAM
(Bubble 2; reacting to Panel 2, Bubble 1) Thank you! My flight to London isn't till the morning, if you wanna party with the harder...
Panel 2: Grem gives a slight nod, lifting his glass of Guinness up for a sip with surprise and absolute joy as he speaks. You can see his left hand petting Athena lovingly on the table in front of him.
GREM
They agreed to the Accords? I had nary a doubt they would, given your oratory skills.
Panel 3: Action shot a beat later of the immortal Irishman being struck by a painful migraine; his hand clutching the glass, and his eyes starting to roll into the back of his head. Athena tilts her head up with a regular feline's worth of worry in her eyes.
Panel 4: He recovers a few seconds later, spotting someone in front of him that elicits a sense of melancholy and love in his eyes.
Panel 5: Cut to a shot of who Grem's seeing in front of him: his parents at the best of their lives. Next to them is Margaret, as beautiful as Grem remembers.
MARGARET
(reassuring, to Grem) You did the right thing, my love. Trust in that...
Panel 6: Close-up on Grem's face; his eyes a quickly increasing shade of red, with the tears quickly streaming down his face.
MIRIAM
(drifting in from off-panel) Gremlin...You alright?
Page 147 Panel 1: Same layout as the last panel of the previous page; the setting shifts back to real-time as the young/old man glances over at his oldest and dearest friend for an answer.
MIRIAM
(Cont., Off-Panel) Gremlin!
GREM
(apologetic) Sorry. Been overdue for one of those, I guess.
MIRIAM
(Bubble 2) You see anything I need to worry about?
GREM
(Bubble 2) Not at all. Just...a welcomed voice I hadn't heard in many moons.
Panel 2: Miriam chuckles lightly, easing the mood as best as she can. You can see her hand moving toward the glass as she speaks.
MIRIAM
I figured as much, especially with the copious amount of tears.
Panel 3: Grem lets out a loving, happy grin as he lays the glass back on the table; his opposite hand wiping the tears from his face.
MIRIAM
(Cont., Off-Panel) If I had to wager, it involved your late parents and fiance.
GREM
(nods) Margaret- Aye. They weren't painful tears though, which was a blessing.
Panel 4: A two-part set of panels that shifts to a different part of the planet as this goes on. You can see some locals passing by from either side going through their regular lives; a newspaper highlighting the recovery from the global creature attack, along with articles detailing the creation of the Doomsday Clock.

(Cont., Grem)
"It was more healing, in more ways than one!"

(Miriam)
"I love to hear that, dear old friend. You've been due one of those for awhile. So, what's next for you once you're back home?"
Panel 5: In the second part, on an empty part of the wall, we see a flier magically pop up. It reads: "Grem Allen, Multi-Purpose PI- Saving the World, Big and Small."
Caption
(Grem)
"Something pretty damn fun, I suspect."
