19.1: We see the group a short time later running up to the entrance to the Boo-Ya! entrance door, with the Madam a few steps ahead of the others.

STAEHLIA

(into her comm) Capaldi, we’re coming in.

MADAM

(into her comm) You better be bloody decent in there. Last bett’n thing I need to see again is those floppily-made gricakes you call–

19.2: Cut to Capaldi’s room, where we see the AI hologram slowly building a sculpture of Malcolm Tucker from The Thick of It.

CAPALDI

(interjecting)

Hold your underbits, cap’n, I’m coming. Just engaging in a wee bit of fan art. Why the rush?

MADAM

(from his comm)

You remember me saying this thing on Mowannis wasn’t gonna take long?

CAPALDI (Bubble 2)

Ah…say no more!

19.3: Back to the Madam in more of a close-up, glancing behind her to see if the M-Clahmper is drawing closer to them.

MADAM

Yeah..get the doors open before the assassin tries to blow us to bits.

CAPALDI

(from the comm) Aye aye, cap’n. I’ll loop Mani in for an extra pair of hands.

19.4: Action shot of the group a short time later walking up the walk bridge that leads into the ship itself.

CAPALDI

(Cont., Caption) Speaking of which- is Nessa nearby?

MADAM (Caption) Nah, she’s back with the tasty spy lady. We’ll pick her up on the way.

19.5: With the doors now closed, you can see the ship’s engines beginning to fire up pre-takeoff. Off-panel right, you can see the sound effect of similar personal cruiser engines coming toward the same position.

19.6: In the distance minutes later, a lone circular ship belonging to the would-be assassin blazes through the sky of the city in order to catch up to their foe.

MADAM

(Caption)

And…we’ve just broke orbit, guys.

MANI (Caption) What about me? MADAM (Caption 2)

We’ll get you a ride home, once we pick up Ness and find a chill time throughout all this.

20.1: Close-up to Mani at the navigation chair, looking up at the screen and the tiny radar display in the corner of the screen; her hands tightly gripping the steering column.

MANI

Understood. Any idea what this thing that’s been hanging on our tail the past twenty minuyats?

MANI

(Bubble 2; reacting to Panel 2, Bubble 1)

Understood. What’s the largest weapon available on this ship to blast that thing to microscope ejngas?

20.2: The Madam ponders the question from the captain’s chair in partial agreement to the spirit, though with a little extra thought to unintended consequences that might occur.

MADAM

Bad merc with decent fighting skills, killed the woman we were supposed to meet as well as Stahl, and–

MADAM

(Bubble 2; reacting to Panel 1, Bubble 2)

I’m with you in spirit. But the biggest one we have- the atmosphere would torch it to bits before it could break orbit the moment we activate it. Best thing right now, given its puny size, is to shake it off somehow before breaking into–

20.3: As if to kind of heighten her overall point, the bridge shakes violently due to a sizable phaser blast emanating from the M-Clahmper’s ship.

MADAM

(held back growl)

…Yeah, forget what I said!

20.4: Exterior shot moments later of the ship firing a counter shot at the meddlesome opponent.

20.5: The blast connects with the much smaller ship with barely a ripple, courtesy of the powerful than expected force field surrounding it.

20.6: Moments later, the craft revs up its own weaponry trained at our protagonists and located on the sides.
