The Boo-Ya!, Season 2- Issue 3: Part 2.2

9.1: Meanwhile, in the Mental Challenge, we see Staehlia in their version of utter joy and delight, working on the massive puzzle before them that looks very similar to a nonogram (albeit rooted more in symbology than numbers). In the top of the panel, you can see the running clock showing the time remaining (2:44).
STAEHLIA
I must have been a hatchling when I dabbled in one of these last. I wonder if this one will be as easy as that one was to solve…
9.2: Action shot of a metal arrow zipping by from the top left corner of the panel view, narrowly missing the Titanian’s shoulder by a matter of millimeters; the impact enough to get their eyes peered toward the area.
9.3: Cut to the respective arrow launcher that fired the round earlier; the gears moving within it in preparation for the next one to be fired, one of a similar amount of moving gears coming from the other unseen launchers in the fairly lit hall.
STAEHLIA
(Off-Panel)
Ah. That is a firm no…
9.4: We move back to Staehlia a few moments later, shifting toward a separate edge of the massive puzzle to continue their work; their peripheral gaze sticking to the ceiling in order to figure out where the next shot might be coming from.
STAEHLIA
(Cont.) One that I trust, with my abilities, can and will be handled strong and true.
9.5: Another arrow comes zipping by from the same area, give or take a few feet, and we see the young person twirl and bend as elegantly as possible from the round; their hands shifting another piece of the puzzle into place.
9.6: Meanwhile, we see the Madam sweep the remnants of her bruised and battered speeder bike into a sort of punch toward Utdred with enough force to send it and xim flipping in the same sideways manner we saw from Staehlia in the previous panel. You can see a running countdown clock at 2:30 on the arena wall in the background.

10.1: As her opponent tumbles downward to a big BOOM a handful of feet away in the background, we see the Madam leap off as her respective ride fly off-panel dead center. The applause from the viewing audience filters in from all sides of the panel…
10.2: …growing a little more as the good captain lands on the ground moments later, right alongside the full vision of the explosion from her opponent. You can see a shadow even then emerging from the smoke and fire of that area.
10.3: Close-up on Utdred emerging from the smoke and flames, raising xis spear into the air in attack pose; the scars and bruises that had come from the periods of smashing and crashing they had engaged in.
UTDRED
(boastful/respectful, to Madam) Uvlein danaach…“Prime Warrior.” That’s how your people pronounce it, don’t ya?
10.4: The two combatants trade respective slashes a beat later, ending up in a stalemate that causes a collection of energy crackles. You can see the clock in the background reading 2:01 on the stadium wall, along with part of the cheering crowd.
UTDRED
(Cont.) It’s a shame it’ll ultimately come to naught. Maybe once I’m done with ya, you can spar with my physical form in the Great Beyond- or be my concubine. I’ve always had a tender zone for–
MADAM Ah, you poor, poor little putz…!
10.5: A two-part set of panels, composed of two halves of a counter from the Madam. The first one consists of a kick to Utdred’s midsection…
10.6: …followed by a blast from the tip of her spear that sends xim flying backward a handful of feet.
10.7: Close-up on the captain in an action pose a split second after the completion of the move; a sly grin coming over the left half of her face. As she speaks, unbeknownst to her off-panel, a buzzer goes off with good news attached to it.
MADAM
(Cont., snarky)
You’re nowhere close to my lev!
