The Boo-Ya!, Season 2- Issue 4: Part 1.1
Page 1
1.1: We open on Robin in her room on the Boo-Ya!, writing a passage into her diary in a lull in fighting. There’s a weariness that comes through in the words she says, which is mixed with a few crackles of hope deep inside her. You can also see her body is harder while still retaining its large size, ala Kingpin.

Dear Diary- Today marks two months and four-five days since we started fighting alongside the O’Julanians. It’s been, um…I hesitate to call it easy or fun, even though the feeling is disturbingly similar, ‘cause it–it feels fundamentally wrong to say it as a human being. I wonder if my grandparents had the same feeling during the meat of World War II. Anyway, all this biz has provided me a way to get used to this new, changing body.
1.2: Action shot of the past of Ms. Cartwright going toe-to-toe alongside a flank of O’J soldiers fighting a band of TA grunts charging into one of the planet’s major cities. Meanwhile, there is another group of O’J soldiers firing blasts to take out the scramjets buzzing by.

One of the first things I noticed was how effortless and easy the world became to me–like I’d just been thrown into easy mode on Final Fantasy– thanks to my super strength and speed as well as the enhanced healing. There are a few drawbacks, sadly. For starters, I’m not Luke Cage level bulletproof (found that out the hard way with a phaser blast down south).
1.3: We see the young human woman shortly after said fight, dead asleep and being dragged off by the Madam and Nessa back onto the ship.

Also, I realized the fainting thing I did wasn’t just a one-off, but a uniquely human quirk (at least how I’m choosing to see it) to compensate for the uber exertion of energy my body now generates. Staehlia was able to cook up something to deal with that, but the Generals were understandably nervous about placing me in the battlefield and decided to place me in a special outfit called “Creative Intel” which deals with unique ways to spy on the TA without facing the full blast of their weapons. It’s turned out to be a blessing, ‘cause it’s where I just met–
1.4: Same setting/layout as the previous panel. She stops typing mid-sentence, turning her head off-panel right at a command bellowed her way.
LADY JERNIEV
(Off-Panel) Yo, Liz’r…
1.5: Standing in the doorway a beat later is LADY JERNIEV of said “Creative Intel” crew wearing the same aqua and lime green military uniform that someone in Military Intel wears.
LADY JERNIEV
(Cont.)
Sweep time- let’s book it!
ROBIN (Off-Panel) I’m comin’, Lady J…

2.1: Action shot of the pair going down the hallway in conversation a few moments later. As the Lady speaks, you can see her quickly typing a set of coordinates into her own wrist comm.
LADY JERNIEV
How rested are you, Cartwright?
ROBIN
Topped up for the day. Which area are we focusing on today?
LADY JERNIEV
(Bubble 2)
The Simones Lands, in the east of the planet.
ROBIN (Bubble 2) Ah brilliant, I love the Simones!
2.2: A beat after finishing the typing, a yellow glow appears over the pair as a result of a transporter beam warming up to action.
LADY JERNIEV
(Cont.)
There’s buzz from HQ a TA platoon is in the area, building a weapon that could prove troublesome for the rest of the planet
ROBIN (curious eyebrow) Troublesome how? LADY JERNIEV (Bubble 2)
The Simones are a vital source of agriculture on O’Julana, responsible for feeding about 70% of the planet’s inhabitants. You lay waste to any or all part of it, it would leave millions of my citizens open to misery and potential death…
2.3: The yellow glow overtakes the whole of the background a beat later as Jerniev continues her explanation.
LADY JERNIEV
(Cont.) …not to mention heavily damaging our planet’s resistance efforts, which aren’t exactly in the most stable of conditions, and leaving us up to likely imminent occupation by the Alliance.
ROBIN
Gotcha. So, I’m guessing you want me to bring in the usual Cloangr bots into position before joining with the other E&Es.
LADY JERNIEV
(Bubble 2)
Actually, given the limited scope we’re scanning this time out, the Chief wanted to try something new. One that I think you’d be a great fit for.
ROBIN (Bubble 2) Wait, are you talking about…?
2.4: As they reappear in a makeshift base floating above the planet, you can see the eager excitement pop up on the young human woman’s face in anticipation for what Lady Jerniev is referring to.
ROBIN
(open smile)
No bloody way–I get to wear it?!
LADY JERNIEV (nodding) Mmm-hmm…
2.5: Cut to Robin a short time later on a platform in another part of the ship, decked out in a suit of Iron Man armor as techs around her engage in final prep; the helmet placed underneath her right arm as she speaks, with nerdy glee…
ROBIN (imitating RDJ) I am Iron Man…!
TECH (correcting) Actually, it’s made of a refined metal called Artemian. It’s quite sturdy when it comes to–
ROBIN (Bubble 2)
Really, Mlev? Couldn’t give me that one teeny tiny mo…!
LADY JERNIEV (Off-Panel) We’re closing in on the position.
