The Boo-Ya!, Season 2- Issue 4: Part 1.2

Page 3

3.1: Cut to a shot of Lady Jerniev at a console near where the young human woman is standing from the end of the previous page, going through the last bit of instruction before take off.

LADY JERNIEV (Cont.) You should be seeing a preliminary outline of said device embedded into the view screen on your helmet.

ROBIN (Off-Panel) I do, yeah- it’s a big bloody bastard!

LADY JERNIEV (Bubble 2)

Yeah. That should help you spot it when you’re down there. Feel free to tell us about any big changes to that schema though.

ROBIN (Bubble 2, Off-Panel) Will do. I’m curious though–

LADY JERNIEV (Bubble 3)

It’s on your left hip pocket…

3.2: Back to Robin a few beats later, looking down at the pocket where lies a string of vials filled with a purple-pink liquid inside.

LADY JERNIEV (Cont., Off-Panel) A half-dohzeen Riqi-Booms. That should be more than enough to keep you from nodding off mid-flight.

ROBIN

(appreciative) Aw, cheers Jerry!

3.3: Same setting/layout as Panel 1. The Lady nods pleasantly at the compliment, pressing one last button in the sequence as she speaks.

LADY JERNIEV Of course, anything for my favorite pink hu-minn. See you in twenty…

3.4: Action shot of the techs clearing out of the way a few moments later; the helmet firmly latched on top of Ms. Cartwright’s head.

LADY JERNIEV

(Cont., Off-Panel) Clear the area, everyone!

3.5: We see the young human woman descend from an opened trap door that was underneath her feet all this time.

3.6: Cut to an exterior shot of Robin descending in her Artemian suit toward the atmosphere from the O’J military cruiser that they were on briefly. You can see as she goes downward a tether made of photonic energy, connecting her to the ship all this time.

4.1: Streams of red and yellow and pink flames flows past the young woman’s armor upward and downward as she breaks through the atmosphere; the helmet’s visor showing to the audience the bank of clouds they’re moving past.

ROBIN

[Musical Notes Set to “Next Stop Everywhere”]

4.2: Through the clouds a short time later, we see a smattering of a beautiful sea of green that comprises the Simones along with a hillside nearby. You can also see a black patch in the top part of the green, though of what we don’t know quite yet.

ROBIN

(Off-Panel, thought bubble)

Whoa…still takes my fracking breath away seeing it!

4.3: Back to a close-up on Robin’s face covered by the visor, looking on as she continues shooting downward toward the intended target; her mind still in the deep thought from the previous panel.

ROBIN

(Cont., thought bubble)

It balances out the fact a good chunk of space wants me dead or in a jail cell…well, a little bit anyway. I wonder if my Dad had the same feeling as a kid when he moved from Liverpool to Cardiff after the whole Llyn Caeln thing. Might be best not to think too much on it, less I wanna ugly cry in this helmet…

LADY JERNIEV

(interjecting, through the earpiece comm) You should be nearing the target now. Anything worrying pop up yet?

4.4: Same setting/layout as the previous panel. A few beats later, from inside the helmet, there’s the red glow of a notification that vibes around the Lady’s comment from the previous panel.

ROBIN

Hard to tell. Just seeing the first flash of data on my end. Looks like another 5 or so before I get something concrete to ya. On a separate note, about the speed…

LADY JERNIEV

(through the earpiece comm)

There’s speed deflectors on your wrist. They should do the trick.

4.5: Action shot of one of Ms. Cartwright’s wrists, clicking on a rectangular button on the cuff that activates said speed deflectors.

LADY JERNIEV

(Cont., Caption) Just give it a quick click, and…

4.6: We see a wider shot of the young human woman, stabilizing her speed moments later courtesy of a series of hover engines that come from underneath the chest plate and the shoulder blade area.

4.7: Cut to Lady Jerniev back on the station a short time later, waiting for a response from the young human woman.

LADY JERNIEV

Not a fan of the silence, Robin. Gimme something to soothe the bad itch in the back of my head?

ROBIN

(from the earpiece)

Umm…you remember when you told me to tell you about any big changes to your guys’ schematics?

LADY JERNIEV (Bubble 2) Yeah?
