The Boo-Ya!, Season 2- Issue 4: Part 3.2
Page 15
15.1: The Hi’Lyta Officer joins in with the third Junior Officer a few moments later; the former checking out the data up close for the first time.
JUNIOR OFFICER #3
(Cont.)
I can’t get a proper tag on it. There’s some similarity with TASF code, but the edge of it seems to be…changing, I think?
HI’LYTA OFFICER
(in thought)
Probably just one of the regular Haulers coming from Capitol. Don’t their SIDs follow a similar pattern? JUNIOR OFFICER #3 (Bubble 2) Yeah, but their next run is not slated to arrive for another three datums. And there isn’t any notice of a change from Command.
HI’LYTA OFFICER
(Bubble 2) Hmm…how long till the craft reaches the cargo bay?
JUNIOR OFFICER #3 (Bubble 3)
Eight minuyats, at its current speed.
15.2: After a brief pause, the Hi’Lyta officer walks off to start up the idea xhe cooked up in the previous panel while also leaving xer subordinate with a simple order.
HI’LYTA OFFICER
(lifting xer wrist comm to mouth level) I’ll get the Sentry head on the horn, fill them in on the situation. You get the word out to any and every comrater stationed in the cargo bay as well as the auxiliary bay.
15.3: Back to the bridge of the Boo-Ya! as this is taking place, framed very Star Trek-like with the Madam at the chair and Nessa at the wheel; Staehlia flanking the left panel corner of the bridge at her station.
HI’LYTA OFFICER
(Cont., Caption)
Grab their weapons, and make votbett’n sure whoever’s in there feels the full fury of the Crowns!
NESSA
I see the thrusters from the merc ship dead-on in the distance. Shouldn’t be long before the fun and frivolity begins.
MADAM (to Capaldi) How’s Step 2 going, Capaldi?
15.4: In the cargo area of the ship, we see Capaldi standing in front of the spacesuits hung in the background and gripping a slightly larger version of the Time Bubble-type device Staehlia used in Issue 1.
CAPALDI
All the pieces are set and ready to go, including the nifty little Time Bubble Staehlia used on Mowannis.
15.5: Close-up on Staehlia at their station, answering the question the AI companion directs toward them a beat after the previous panel.
CAPALDI (Cont., Off-Panel) By the by, how the hells did you sneak that bett’n thing back from there?
STAEHLIA
(calmly explanatory)
Feature of the device- a halb-horut after use, it zips back to the registered owner of the device where it goes into its recharge cycle. The owner here, of course…being me.
CAPALDI
(Bubble 2, Off-Panel) Huh…
15.6: Back to the good cap’n smirking confidently at the idea and the remark a beat later.
MADAM
Have I told you lately how happy I am you aren’t working at a weapons firm’s R&D?
STAEHLIA (Off-Panel)
Not in a few datums, no.
MADAM (Bubble 2)
Haha…!

16.1: Rear shot of the Boo-Ya!, settling into position a short time later behind the military ship; a prologue for the business yet to come.
16.2: The ship continues onward seemingly incognito a short time later. You can see the faint gray speck of the O’J satellite appearing in the distance, along with the sound effect of the Boo-Ya!’s teleporter activating.
16.3: We see the crew show up in the enemy ship’s engine room. As Staehlia quickly goes about heading to the control center, Nessa gets the slightest tinge of a worry in the back of her head.
NESSA Just got a little jolt in the back of my beck. I’m gonna check the hallway, in case something bad’s going down.
MADAM (nonchalant)
Sounds cool…
16.4: Action shot of Nessa a few moments later, slowly walking around the aforementioned hallway and looking around for any sign of danger nearby.
NESSA (thought bubble)
Dude, I’m probably just overthinking this-a product of too many flarking ominous situations in my life. Still worth checking to be able to ya know…sleep tonacht.
16.5: She spots an interesting icon in the distance that breaks up the train of thought and the corresponding anxiety.
NESSA Hmm…
