The Boo-Ya!, Season 2- Issue 6: Part 1.3
Page 5
5.1: The good captain reveals the painfully smaller than her (at least at first glance) outfit to the pair a few moments later, immediately looking for clarification.
MADAM
(to Cheroir) Yo Cher, don’t know if you’ve noticed. But I’m not as…dainty as most of the femmes on this planet. You got anything else that could–
CHEROIR
(interjecting calmly, to Madam) Already thought of, duda. Just tug both sleeves gently at the exact same time.
5.2: A two-part set of panels that zooms slightly back on Madam. Rolling her eyes, she does as instructed moments later; her face not really displaying faith this will come to anything.
5.3: In the second part, within a matter of mere seconds, the jumpsuit expands three times its original size to a level that would compensate someone as large as the Madam.
DYIO PETRO
(Off-Panel)
Super agile fabric is actually an O’Julanian speciality…
5.4: Back to Daiyo in the front seat a beat later, finishing up the rest of their thought to a proudly grinning Cheroir.
DYIO PETRO (Cont.)
Mix it with Cherry’s skill at moldable form and compartmentalization, and…
CHEROIR
(light chuckle)
Your skill at flattery is still divine, comrade D. Now, suit up and put on your finest- we should be near the entrance gate soon.
5.5: Action shot of the good captain as she starts to put the jumpsuit on while also chiming in with the first counter thought that comes to mind.
MADAM What about you guys? Shouldn’t you suit up, too? Unless you somehow are friendos with the guards
5.6: We move back to Cheroir and the Airperson sharing a mutual sense of nonchalance in response to the question.
CHEROIR
Actually, we are friendos with a few of the guards who happened to “call in sick” weatts back and holed up on an AA base over in the Claralew.
(Bubble 2) They actually helped provide the realistic veneer behind the cover we’ve been using.
MADAM (Off-Panel)
Clever…!
CHEROIR
(Bubble 3)
Cheers! They ended up going mech after the desertion though. But no worries, I’ve prepped for that possibility too.

6.1: Cut to a short time later as the automobile comes to a stop in front of the gate. You can see a robot shaped like a traffic cone with a single camera lens on top roll up to the window for a check.
6.2: In position moments later, the robot zooms in for a better look at the vehicle’s inhabitants; a charging station where it emerged from is partially visible in the background.
6.3: We move to a shot from the robot’s POV of Dyio and Cheroir inside, who look (at least to the machine) completely different physically. They’re also both dressed in typical janitorial wear.
DYIO PETRO Ebenn, mechude. Brilliant weather we’ve been having?
CHEROIR It’s a secbot. They don’t care what the weather is like.
DYIO PETRO (Bubble 2) Don’t get me started on that argument again, hon…
6.4: The setting and layout shifts slightly to the back, scanning the backseat which shows the Madam in the same jumpsuit we saw last page but with purple skin instead of her regular colored skin.
DYIO PETRO (Cont., connecting from Panel 3)
It’s been proven time and again that robots and other nonorganic life are capable of different sensory sensations compared to their organic brethrxn and sestryn–
CHEROIR (Off-Panel) Yeah, with the right tech in place. Something as clunky as these Alliance junkos- no offense- there’s no chance in the pits of the Hive they’d even think to install it.
DAIYO PETRO (Bubble 2, Off-Panel)
What about those–shite, I can’t remember what they’re called…
6.5: Back to the secbot in the same setting and layout as Panel 2 moments after completing its scan.
SECBOT Authorization granted- may the Eye bless you at work.
6.6: Close-up on Dyio (in the concealed mirage image) nodding subtly at the machine as their friend revs the automobile again to start moving forward.
DYIO PETRO
Thank you…and same to you, too.
(thought bubble) Sonnies–that’s it!
6.7: Action shot of the automobile from the rear, driving up to the parting gates and into the main compound that can be seen in the distance.
MADAM

Hopefully Ness is in a less messy sitch right now.
