The Boo-Ya!, Season 2- Issue 7: Part 1.1

Page 1

1.1: We open on a shot of the same ship [DESN-87] that was introduced at the end of the last issue, though in a completely different part of space given the fact that you can see part of a moon in the background to the right.

CAPALDI (4Meta Caption) Heya, welcome back! And a Happy “Death to Snow” (or Spring, as some of you hu-mahns may also call it) to those who celebrate it. Normally, we’d be jumping right back to the big action with the fine ladies and enby of the Boo-Ya!. But given what happened at the end of the last issue, I thought we’d change things up slightly and take a trip to the past…

CAPTION Ten Earth Years Ago

CAPALDI (4Meta Caption) See the thing that sparked the idea that would become the Final Stab.

1.2: The DESN-87 shifts 180 degrees into position a short time later; a set of long rectangular doors on the lower left section of the ship.

CAPTION

The Massacre at Bazzariii 3

1.3: With the cannons fully unleashed moments later, a series of powerful blasts with an equivalent power of solar blasts from the Sun down onto the planet below…

1.4: …leveling a town square in the middle of Bazzariii 3, taking out buildings and subsuming the section of protesters they were aiming at.

CAPTION

880,000 people protesting for independence from the Tristellar Alliance were killed within the span of 10 minutes.

1.5: At the end of those 10 minutes, we see the death and destruction that was left as a result- miserable and cold and hellish in many ways those on Earth need only read a history book to catch a glimpse of. You can see part of a sign in the lower section of the panel view that reads, in the Bazzariii 3 language, “Death to the Prime Chancellor!”

CAPALDI (4Meta Caption) Not to mention the origin of a young femme of 22 years beginning their first datums in the Alliance Parliament. Pretty sure you know the name by now…

VOICE (Caption) Urrgdai Brunnya?

1.6: Cut to a young MP Brunnya standing in front of a security line, dressed in a snazzy-in-a-Kohl’s style suit and talking to a guard off-panel as xhe approaches the front area.

MP BRUNNYA It’s Rdai Brunnya. I don’t hold condemnation. I know it’s a bit difficult to pronounce. Especially given my GIsimeonnian accent which sometimes–

2.1: The guard chimes in a beat later, signaling for the rookie Parliamentarian to just walk through the security area that’s to the left of them.

SECURITY GUARD (interjecting)

Step through there, Mxss. Brunnya.

2.2: Action shot of Rdai walking through the edge of the full-body scanner, humming a spiritual hymn to herself as xhe goes.

2.3: Cut to a similar looking action shot, taken from the roof, as the young MP looks up in awe at the gorgeous architecture in the area.

MP BRUNNYA

By the blessed Eye…I can’t believe I’m here!

2.4: We jump to a few moments later as an older MP walks on by in the opposite direction; a question popping into her head.

MP BRUNNYA

Excuse me. I was wondering if you could show me where…

2.5: The older MP, without breaking stride, karate chops Rdai with one of its gray gangly hands- a throwback to the Vice Chancellor a few issues earlier.

2.6: Rdai glances back, grimacing in pain and showing the first bits of anger that we’d see from xer later in her political career.

MP BRUNNYA (groans)

…Masthole!
