Panel 1: Seanna chuckles lightly and grins, still utterly proud of their friend's accomplishments. In the background to the right, you can see the waiter approaching the table mid-conversation.

SEANNA

(casual remark, to Lynn) I'm proud of you, budette. Hopefully you didn't get too much crap at work from PUArnold. Does he still work there?

LYNN

(Off-Panel) Actually...

WAITER

(to Seanna) What can I get you to drink?

Panel 2: Same setting/layout as the previous panel. The young person breaks away from the conversation and glances up at the waiter to give their order.

SEANNA

(to the waiter) Diet Dr. Pepper.

Panel 3: A two-part set of panels that moves back to Lynn engaging in the same action as her friend.

LYNN

(to the waiter) Chai smoothie with a dash of cinnamon.

Panel 4: In the second part, moments after the waiter has left with their respective orders, the young woman's focus turns back to her friend; a look of apprehension on her face regarding what she's about to say.

LYNN

(Cont., to Seanna) I actually left Kroger's a few months ago, right before my first competition.

LYNN

(Bubble 2; reacting to Panel 5, Bubble 1) My new job- I'm a Figure competitor.

LYNN

(Bubble 3; reacting to Panel 5, Bubble 2) Someone at the gym I went to saw my body and pointed to this competition over in Fresno...

Panel 5: Back to a shot of Seanna on the other side with a slightly quizzical look on their face; their right hand gripping the middle of their drink glass as they speak.

SEANNA

Competition?

SEANNA

(Bubble 2; reacting to Panel 4,Bubble 2) Oh wow, how'd that begin?

Panel 6: We jump to a shot of the two of them at the end of the explanation. You can see a little bit of each of their drinks has been taken, showing the overall passage of time.

Sounds interesting...

LYNN

(nods)

It is. Exhausting o, at times, with the Youtube channel and the online personal training. I always make time for chocolate though, and a good Impossiburger, when the craving strikes.

SEANNa

(Bubble 2) You still make time for your art, right?

LYNN

(Bubble 2) Of course! I could never forget my true love.

SEANNA

(Bubble 3) That's good...

Panel 1: We move back to a close-up on Lynn a few beats later, leaning forward a little bit in inspired curiosity following her friend's last comment.

LYNN

(to Seanna) So, how are you handling the "new world?"

SEANNA

(Off-Panel) Pretty good, mostly. The media tour thing's been weird as hell. But having universal health care seems pretty awesome.

LYNN

(Bubble 2) True true...you talk to Carol yet, try to get your job back?

SEANNA

(Off-Panel, Bubble 2)

That's on the to-do list.

Panel 2: A semi-long pause, we see an anxious look come across Seanna's face regarding a big piece of information floating around their head.

SEANNA

(Cont. nervous, to Lynn) Umm, can you keep a secret?

SEANNA

(Bubble 2; reacting to Panel 3, Bubble 1) Okay...

Panel 3: A two-part set of panels that moves back to Lynn; the setting and layout similar to Panel 1. In the first panel, she leans back toward her chair with a casual, matter-of-fact look on her face.

LYNN

You're my dearest friend- you know you can!

SOUND EFFECT

(Off-Panel) THUNK!

Panel 4: In the second part, she looks on in stunned silence at what she's seen materialize in front of her.

SEANNA

(Off-Panel, pained) AGH...!

LYNN

Ho...ly....shhhiiitt!

Panel 5: Cut to a shot of Seanna a moment later, flashing a half-grin to their friend; their right hand quickly healing as they speak. You can see the tip of the bloodied butterknife on the table.

LYNN

(Cont., Off-Panel) You have a superpower...!

SEANNA

(correcting) A couple that I know of. The healing factor's the first one

LYNN

(Bubble 2) What's the second one?

SEANNA

(Bubble 2) I remember you telling me how much you wanted a shield of your own after seeing First Avenger- and Hayley Atwell's phone number. Well....

Panel 6: Back to Lynn a few moments later, glancing over to the left as a picture perfect replica of Captain America's shield pops up on the table next to her; a piece of paper resting in the middle of it.

LYNN

(mouth agape) Right...I have so many questions right now.

LYNN

(Bubble 2; reacting to Panel 7, Bubble 1) You kidding me? Of course I'll help!

Panel 7: Seanna shrugs at the question in agreement to their friend's statement. You can see the waiter coming back to the area in the background, clueless- along with the rest of the cafe- as to what happened.

SEANNA

You and me both, budette...! If you want, maybe we could find those questions out- together.
