Panel 2: Later, in the office, we see Jean with an exasperated look on her face connected to the young/old woman's response.

JEAN

(exasperated, to Jesminder) Did you lose your brain trying to get your Doctorate?!​

Panel 3: Back to Ms. Gupta who is leaning against the wall at a separate part of the office, back in her regular pre-tea clothes, flashing a defensive tone as she speaks; her cup of tea in her right hand. You can see her purse on the ground in the bottom of the panel view.

JESMINDER

I can thoroughly explain what happened. I was there just as I said I would when she...

Panel 4: Slight close-up on her face a beat later. She clears her throat of a little tickle that pops up at the moment before returning again.

JESMINDER

(Cont., raising the cup to her lips; thought bubble) Her rage- burning the back of my throat. Not the good burn of the Gur Gur.

(Bubble 2) I met the woman in question after I evacuated the building. We barely exchanged words before she ran. I had no idea she was even involved in what happened in Parliament.

Panel 5: Same setting/layout as Panel 3. Jean sighs, glancing over at her friend wearily as she speaks; the answer now readily evident for her.

JEAN

I don't doubt that. But given the pain in the ass this is gonna cause us, I got no other choice...

Panel 6: We move to a shot of Jesminder taking in the news with as much stoicism as possible, holding in the anger of the moment.

JEAN

(Cont., Off-Panel) You're gonna have to take an indefinite leave of absence from the Team, effective immediately.

Panel 1: Just before she gets back to her work, Jean turns back to Ms. Gupta with one last thing before the young/old woman left.

JEAN

(reassuring, to Jesminder) Don't worry- it's not a sacking. Once things calm down and you're out of the woods, we'll hire you back.

Panel 2: Jesminder can only muster a half smile upon the announcement, keeping up the stoic wall from the end of the previous page.

JESMINDER

(to Jean) Right...right.

(Jesminder) "La Dedo Medio..."

Panel 3: In the elevator a short time later, she looks over in thought at a point on the wall as it goes down to the ground floor; her purse back looped over her shoulder.

JESMINDER

(thought bubble) How the hell could she have not thought to check CCTV cameras from across the street? Arghh...!

(Bubble 2, thought bubble) Here's hoping this is the worst part of the day. That it won't get...

Panel 4: Same setting/layout as the previous panel. Mid-thought, her phone starts ringing inside her purse. The sudden sound jolts her ever so slightly.

Panel 5: Action shot of the phone coming out of her unzipped purse with the endless interior moments later. She looks over at the screen with a hopeful look on her face.

Ah, the Doctoral Committee. I could use the good news.
