The Community, Issue 7: Part 1.2
Page 159 Panel 1: Action shot of Jesminder returning her focus back to the laptop, typing away; her left hand reaching out to grab a french fry from the plate next to her computer.
JESMINDER
(back to business) Stands to reason that wherever he is, Walsh won't be far behind.
Panel 2: Celia, meanwhile, dips her fork into her plate of fried rice; the proverbial light bulb popping up above her face as she speaks.
CELIA
(matter of factly, to Jesminder) There's another place I remember seeing Walsh's name at.
Panel 3: A two-part set of panels that moves back to Ms. Gupta; the setting and layout similar to Panel 1. In the first part, the young/old woman glances up once more at Celia with an equally matter-of-fact look on her face.
JESMINDER
(curious)
Where? If I can get a tac on the place, I could put together a simple spell to--
Panel 4: In the second part, she lifts her left hand up to the side of her temple, rubbing it as a migraine jolts her at that moment.
JESMINDER
(Cont., groans) Sorry about that. The chatter inside the cafe- giving me a massive migraine...where was the place?
Panel 5: Celia ponders the explanation to herself as she chews up the chunk of food she shoveled up earlier in the page; an idea pops into her head.
CELIA
(mouth full) I was engaging in some civil disobedience at a base back in Brazil, messing around with WalshTech on some type of experimental satellite.
CELIA
(Bubble 2; reacting to Panel 6, Bubble 1) Not really sure if it was military or not. All I know was I was there to trash its software and split.
Panel 6: Same setting/layout as Panel 4. Jes now is the one confused, and also a touch curious in regards to Celia's statement.
JESMINDER
Weird. I wasn't aware WalshTech did any military work.
Page 160
Panel 1: We move back to a shot of Celia at the military base, pulling her hand back after short circuiting the battery back in Issue 5.

(Cont., Celia in narration route)
"I did spot the name of it though: 'SENTRY.'"
Caption
(Jesminder)
"SENTRY? Sounds like a new way to explode things."
Caption
(Celia)
"Thus why I was there to try to flambe it."
Caption
(Jesminder)
"Did the sabotage work?"
Caption
(Celia)
"Annoyingly...no."
Panel 2: Cut to a shot of the notes in her hands a moment later; a shadow of her face glancing over what are a bunch of theoretical scenarios that the SENTRY could be used for.
Caption
(Cont. Celia, narrating)
"A hacker friend of ours said later that it's not just one satellite, but four acting as one. There was some regenerative matrix that healed the damage I tried to level."
Caption
(Jesminder)
"Your hacker friend find out any more details about it?"
Caption
(Celia)
"It's supposedly about preventing another pandemic occurring, but there a half dozen countries bidding to join alongside Brazil and writing wish lists of what other stuff they wanna do with it."
Panel 3: Back at the restaurant, Jesminder shifts the laptop a little further off to the side of the table in order to grab the cheeseburger with imitation meat.
JESMINDER
(game planning; to Celia) I can use some contacts I've got back in the UK to shine a light on the project before it gets too big--
Panel 4: A split second later, Celia shoots her friend a look of "Really?" at the suggestion; her eyebrow raised in the way that, along with the rest of her body language, suggests they already know how that would play out.
CELIA
(interjecting, to Jesminder) You really think they're gonna listen to two brown women talking smack, especially something as popular as pandemic prevention?
Panel 5: We move back to Ms. Gupta in the same setting and layout as Panel 3. The question deflates some of the excitement she displayed then; the reality of the situation setting in.
JESMINDER
(sighs) Crap! Good point...
Panel 6: Same setting/layout as the previous panel. A few moments later, after some thought, another idea pops into the young/old woman's head.
JESMINDER
(Cont.) You mentioned other countries are bidding for SENTRY. Not a bad place to start.
