The Community, Issue 7: Part 2.3

Page 167 Panel 1: Slight close-up on the young/old woman, following along the same type of energy she held at the end of the previous page.

JESMINDER

(Cont., to Maxine) The work you did at the Financial Times...pretty damn revolutionary!

Panel 2: Cut to a shot of Maxine a beat later, looking over the young woman with a degree of surprise at the admission.

MAXINE

(to Jesminder) You must've been...quite popular in high school, if you were reading FT, Miss--

JESMINDER

(Off-Panel) Borah.

Panel 3: Back to Jesminder a beat later, chuckling in response to the comment; a smile popping up on her face as she speaks.

JESMINDER

(Cont., with a wink) I held my own...

Panel 4: Meanwhile, on the dance floor, you can see little pockets of purple smoke at different points. You can see the annoyed faces connected on the people behind each pocket.

Panel 5: We move to a shot of Celia shortly after the last pocket on the board. She looks over at someone in the distance that catches her eye; the lightsaber bulging from one of the pockets on her outfit.

CELIA

(intrigued, thought bubble) Merry Christmas to me...!

Panel 1: Cut to a shot of Lieutenant Fonte- the same man behind the act of police brutality from Issue 2. He's wearing a well tailored tux, chatting with other men with military backgrounds; his hair still orderly as before, though with a little more gray than at that time.

Caption

(Cont., Celia; thought bubble)

"The pig asshole who helped nearly kill me and my friends- gift wrapped and ripe for the picking!"

Panel 2: A two-part set of panels that moves back to the young woman a few moments after the end of the previous page. She thinks to herself what to do next, split between two completely different outcomes; one of which (bloody fighting) is visible in her arm steeling and muscling up.

CELIA

(Cont., thought bubble) Part of me very much wants to pound his head to mush. But...gotta keep things peaceful, for the mission. Maybe later though...

Panel 3: In the second part, she's taken out of the scene mid-thought by a quick blur that suddenly enters the scene from off-panel right, sweeping her effortlessly off her feet.

Panel 4: Seconds later, she pops back up at an area in the back of the mansion. It's here that we see the person who did the whoosh was Winnie, who is standing her to the right of the panel. Celia is to the left, annoyed and a bit discombobulated by it.

CELIA

(to Winnie, translated from Portuguese) What...the shit...!

WINNIE

(confused, but hammers through; to Celia) I don't speak Portuguese, ma'am. My name is Winnie. I work for Mr. Costa, and--

Panel 5: We move to a shot of Winnie a beat later; her sense of confusion has settled more to certitude as she tells the point of why she's here.

WINNIE

(Cont.) And he's been keeping tabs on you for awhile. He sent me here to kill you and your friend, which sucks 'cause I'm a big fan of yours, and...

WINNIE

(Bubble 2, thought bubble; reacting to Panel 6, Bubble 1) "Beat down"- got that part...shit!

Panel 6: Celia raises her eyebrow at the demand. You can see her body fully muscling up; the steel also forming over her body at the same moment.

CELIA

(ready to fight) I don't have an issue with you. But you're working for Mr. Costa, so...beat down time!
