The Community, Issue 7: Part 4.2
Page 177 Panel 1: Same setting/layout as the last panel of the previous page. The smile on the young CEO's face grows wider upon the rest of Costa's statement.
COSTA
(Cont. to Walsh, from the earpiece) The test in America- that was the real deal...
WALSH
(explanatory, to Costa) Pulled a Robert Maxwell- hiding my shit in real life. They should be in alignment by sunset.
Panel 2: From deep in space, you can see some of the other satellites Walsh launched earlier. To the left of the panel is a section of Africa and southern Europe.
Caption
(Cont., Walsh)
"Paired up with our data mining operations, we can shift to Phase 2 of the plan."
Panel 3: Back on Earth, Costa tilts his head up to the ceiling via a brain blast that hits as Walsh was speaking.
COSTA
(suggestive, to Walsh) I have a few side deals online in the Amazon I can use to test the system out.
Panel 4: We cut back to Walsh in the same setting/layout as the top of the page. He shakes his head, immediately dismissive of the idea; his mind already confident of the plan in play.
WALSH
Unnecessary, my friend. An interesting idea though.
Panel 5: From the door near where he's been standing the entire time, a stage manager pops up from the doorway wearing a headset.
STAGE MANAGER
(to Walsh) You're up in 60, Mr. Walsh.
Panel 6: A two-part set of panels in the same setting/layout as Panel 4, a beat later. He glances off-panel right in the direction of the aforementioned stage manager; his hand over the phone.
WALSH
(grateful, to Stage Manager) Thank you.
Panel 7: In the second part, a moment later, he pops back to the conversation as he moves toward the stage door.
WALSH
(Cont., to Costa) Speaking of which: the thing we talked about a few nights ago...drop it to your Fed friend.
Page 178
Panel 1: At Lynn's apartment the next morning, Celia wakes up on the couch; her eyes still woozy from the scars of a past fight. You can see her arm stretching out to the right of the panel view.
Caption
(Cont., Walsh)
"This drama has stretched on for far too long."
Panel 2: We move to a side shot of the same setting. A couple of seconds later, there's a "THUMP!" and the sound of things cluttering about on top of it. Celia glances over and recognizes the damage.
CELIA
(apologetic) Crap...
Panel 3: A little wider moments, as she slowly goes into a seated position, you can see that the legs on the couch have been smashed as a result of the young woman's size.
CELIA
(glancing at the couch legs) Sorry about the table. And the couch.
Panel 4: Lynn glances over from the kitchen, pouring tea from a kettle into one of two cups; the second of which already is filled. You can see a smattering of the modest looking kitchen filled with both healthy and junk food.
LYNN
(smitten/not worried, to Celia) They're both thrift store buys. They can take the punishment.
Panel 5: Action shot of the young woman walking back toward the living room; the middle cup floating out of view at the same time.
JESMINDER
(Off-Panel) Were you clued in on the specific code at the developmental level?
