The Community, Issue 8: Part 2.1
Page 188 Panel 1: Same setting/layout as Panel 5 of the previous page. Lynn has her phone out, scanning her phone's translation app for the meaning of "atraente;" Seanna glancing at the screen curiously themselves. You can see an aroused smile come across her face; the backseat long empty at this point.
LYNN
(learning) Huh...cool!
Panel 2: Action shot of the cyborg and Celia; their fists locked in a bit of a tug-of-war that's lasted for a short while.
Panel 3: Same setting/layout as the previous panel. A few moments later, the machine is swept up by the quick whoosh of Winnie coming in from off-panel left.
Panel 4: Jesminder floats in to the area for the team-up maneuver; her hands glowing with purple energy. You can see her gaze shifting to the left in Ms. Letesha's direction as she speaks.
JESMINDER
And now to close the innings...!
Panel 5: Same setting/layout as the previous panel. A powerful flare shoots from the bottom of the panel, striking the young/old woman in the abdomen and sending her flying backward.
Panel 6: Resting against a wall many feet away, clutching her stomach, Ms. Gupta has a bright idea pop into her head.
JESMINDER
(to Seanna, searching for the name) Lynn's friend...what was your name again?
Page 189
Panel 1: Seanna sticks their head out of the driver's side door, looking over at Ms. Gupta's direction. You can see the cyborg in the background lumbering slowly toward them; Winnie and Celia doing the grunt work to keep it at bay.
SEANNA
(to Jesminder) Seanna.
SEANNA
(Bubble 2; reacting to Panel 2, Bubble 1) Yeah. Not really sure how I could help you...
Panel 2: Action shot that moves back to Jes a beat after the end of the previous page; the setting and layout also similar to said panel.
JESMINDER
(remembering nod, to Seanna) Right, Seanna. Think I might need an assist here. You said you did creation magic.
Panel 3: Same setting/layout as Panel 1. Watkins flashes a sudden realization to what she's referring to.
SEANNA
(excited by the idea)
...O-kay! This could be fun.
Panel 4: We move to a slight close-up of the young person moments later, looking at the cyborg with a considerably higher amount of anxiety in their eyes compared to the previous panel.
SEANNA
(Cont., thought bubble) If I don't become flank steak first.
Panel 5: A two-part set of panels that moves on a shot from the front windshield of the cyborg fight.
SEANNA
(Off-Panel) Please work, please work, please work...
Panel 6: In the second part, the pavement underneath the robot turns into a gloopy kind of quicksand dragging it down just above the knees.
