The Community, Issue 9: Part 2.3
Page 217 Panel 1: Action shot of Watkins in the hallway on Calaveras Hall, speed walking to class; the anxiety steadily higher compared to the last panel of the previous page.
SEANNA
(Cont., thought bubble) Just remember how weird the whole celebrity was; how it mellowed after awhile.
Panel 2: Cut to a shot of the classroom a short time later as students enter and take their seats next to those who were already inside. You can see some of them on their laptops logging in.
Caption
(Cont., Seanna)
"Gotta think the same thing would happen here...right?"
Panel 3: Slight close-up on the professor teaching the class, MS. WILKES- a woman in her late 30s with dark curly shaggy hair and a nose ring. She moves out in her wheelchair toward a point in the room, looking out as class is just about to start.
MS. WILKES
(to the class) I believe everyone on the in-class list is here...
Panel 4: Same setting as the previous panel. The layout widens out to show eight video chat boxes popping up on the top of the smart whiteboard containing the other students in class.
MS. WILKES
(Cont., to the remote students) How about everyone on the Remote side? Everyone connected?
REMOTE STUDENTS
(in one bubble) Yes, Ms. Wilkes.
MS. WILKES
(Bubble 2) Alright, let's begin.
Panel 5: A two-part set of panels that moves back to Seanna seated on a desk in the middle of the room; their bag placed on their lap, opened as the young person starts pulling out the needed supplies.
MS. WILKES
(Cont., Off-Panel) I hope you all had a good weekend. Now, as we left things off Friday...
Panel 6: In the second part, Watkins pulls out their laptop and places it on the desk; the bag now out of view on the floor next to it. The layout has widened compared to the previous panel, showing Ant seated next to them.
ANT
(surprised, in a hushed tone as the teacher speaks; to Seanna) Holy shit- Seanna?!
Page 218
Panel 1: Close-up on Ant a few moments, seeking to give clarification to Seanna's off-panel puzzlement at the statement.
ANT
(Cont., a little add-on; to Seanna) Ant- from the testing line...I saw you faint.
ANT
(Bubble 2; reacting to Panel 2, Bubble 1) Just enrolled over the weekend.
Panel 2: At this point, the connection is made for Watkins; a surprised half-grin over their face as they speak.
SEANNA
(to Ant) Oh, hey! I didn't know you were in this class.
SEANNA
(Bubble 2; reacting to Panel 1, Bubble 2) Awesome! How's it going?
Panel 3: Back to Ant in the same setting/layout as Panel 1. She leans her head back slightly compared to the aforementioned, displaying the same friendly warmth.
ANT
I'm good. Met this lovely couple from Oakland a year ago, and...
Panel 4: In the middle of the story, Ms. Wilkes interjects from the front of the room in the direction of Seanna and Ant. You can see the smart whiteboard behind her in the background.
MS. WILKES
(slightly stern, to Ant and Seanna) Quiet down there, please.
Panel 5: We move back to Ant a few moments later as the teacher is speaking, moving her focus back to her laptop glancing up to catch up in terms of what the professor's been saying.

(Text Box, Ant)
"I'll fill you in with the rest of the story at the DC later, if you're not busy."
Caption
(Text Box, Ant; responding to Seanna)
"Sounds great. We'll talk then."
Panel 6: Same setting/layout as the last panel of the previous page; the class already listening intently to the day's opening lesson. You can see Watkins typing something away with the same focused look as Ant in the previous panel.

(Text Box, Seanna)
"Sure. I don't have class at 1 P.M. That sound good?"
