Panel 1: We move back to Rhonda a beat later, impressed by the young person's gumption. Though you can sense in her eyes that she isn't quite sold on the overall case.
RHONDA
(to Seanna) I admire your spirit, Seanna. But there's still the fact that the deadline for Spring '23 has passed. At this point, you'd need someone dropping out suddenly to even get a chance at--
Panel 2: Same setting/layout as the previous panel. Her train of thought is interrupted by the sound of a phone ringing.
RHONDA
(apologetic) Excuse me one second...
Panel 3: Cut to a slight close-up on Seanna's face, waiting as the Admissions Rep. has her conversation in front of them. You can see a touch of concern in their eyes through all this.
SEANNA
(thought bubble) So, that's probably a no. Not a fan of having to wait out like this, but it's a phone call- probably couldn't help it...
Panel 4: Same setting/layout as the previous panel. A few moments later, her decision places Watkins out of their inner monologuing.
RHONDA
(Off-Panel) Someone must be smiling down on you, Seanna! A spot for Spring '23 just opened.
SEANNA
(surprised) Really? Wow...!
RHONDA
(Bubble 2, Off-Panel) Tuition troubles- happens sometimes.
Panel 5: We move to an action shot of Rhonda back behind the desk, placing the receiver back down; her hand slowly lifting off of it as she speaks.
RHONDA
(Cont.) Anyway, we'd love to offer you that slot. If all that fancy talk was true--
RHONDA
(Bubble 2; reacting to Panel 6, Bubble 1) Okay, okay. You'll need to re-fill out admission forms, including your old transcripts from high school as well as from back in the '19-'20 school year.
Panel 6: Back to Seanna a beat later, all but leaping off of their chair. You can see their hands gripping both armrests as they speak.
SEANNA
(interjecting, excitedly) Yes- absolutely!
SEANNA
(Bubble 2; reacting to Panel 5, Bubble 2) Shouldn't be a problem, I think.

Panel 1: Action shot of Seanna a short time later, stepping out of the elevator at the ground floor of the building; their bag strapped over their shoulder.

(Cont., Rhonda)
"My mom keeps a detailed record of all that back home."
Panel 2: Slight close-up on the young person a moment later, glancing over at someone as they pass them by.
SEANNA
(thought bubble) Was that, uhh...was that a power thing back there? I mean, I was thinking about how awesome it'd be if a spot opened a few seconds before the...
Panel 3: A moment after the words enter their thoughts, Watkins shakes their head in a dismissive fashion. You can see them immediately dive into a judgment regarding the previous panel's question.
SEANNA
(Cont., thought bubble) Ah, I'm overthinking it! It was just a coincidence. Probably.
(thought bubble 2) I should really get a handle on just what powers I actually have.
Panel 4: In the same framing of the top half of their body, the setting around them changes to the front lobby of the aforementioned cafe. Seanna looks over at someone off-panel right and smiles.

(Cont., Seanna thought bubble)
"After lunch with Lynn...I owe her that much."
Panel 5: Cut to a shot of Lynn seated at one of the tables ten feet away, waving at her friend. She's still sporting the same hairstyle she had back in Issue 1, though her body has bulked up considerably in terms of muscle.
