The Strongest Force Alive, Part 4.2

Page 26

Panel 1: Action shot of the mass of gathered people pouring through the broken section of the fence toward the mega dirigibles shortly after the negotiation began.

(Cont., Narrator)

"The 100 souls still standing that night didn't exult the greatest of cheers though. But they still cheered in their own way as they gathered the pieces back up and hurried home, dreaming a little more than the day before of something better than the ever darkening present."

Panel 2: Back in the story of the present, we see Fran and Reina in Orkun's airship following alongside the mega dirigibles heading westward.

Caption

(Cont., Narrator)

"It was a feeling shared by our heroic throuple, brimming with possible uses for this new language born out of the smoke of close calls breaking out refugees from Germany's icy tendrils."

Caption

(Cont., Narrator)

"Orkun coined it Fronary, due to the Binary support and as a recognition of the equal effort each of them had brought to its initial formation."

Panel 3: Flash to a moment from the group a few years later, helping haul a large crate of supplies to a contingent of Resistance fighters in northern France.

Caption

(Cont., Narrator)

"Our heroes soon after that night in Ghent became a beacon of hope and strength throughout the whole of Europe, helping out in any way their growing set of talents could provide. Some ended well..."

RESISTANCE FIGHTER

(grateful, to Orkun) 1-1-1_01-1-01-01'00_11-1-10-00-1-00_00-11-1_10-1-01-1_00-11-1-11_00-1-00-1...01-1-01_1-1-1?

ORKUN

(chuckles, to the Fighter) 1-11_11-1-01-01-1-01-00_01-1-1-10-11-1_01-1-00...!

Panel 4: In another flash, we see them flying away from a dogfight with a pair of German fighter planes shooting in the background. Alongside them, you can see one of the mega dirigibles keeping as fast a pace as it can.

Caption

(Cont., Narrator)

"Others were...best forgotten, or relegated to dismissive laughter to mask the pain."

Panel 5: Cut to a shot of Victor's fate months after we left him and after Poland is occupied by Nazi Germany, blindfolded and brought before an SS firing squad.

Caption

(Cont., Narrator)

"Any pain that was felt though dwarfed that which befell Victor Cryussen shortly after that cold late Winter evening in 1938."

Panel 1: We end up in an action shot of Orkun's airship in the Spring of 1942, flying over to a sprawling gray compound visible in the lower half of the panel view.

Caption

(Cont., Narrator)

"It wasn't until one late April night when the throuple would take on an iconic standing amongst the world's free souls, alongside the Fronary language they created."

ORKUN

(to Reina, translated from German) Are you sure this is wise, Ren?

Panel 2: Cut to an interior of the ship, showing Reina straightening out a maid's outfit she put on, which looks quite similar to the one Fran had on at the beginning of our story. You can see basic cleaning instruments strapped to her back.

ORKUN

(Cont., defending into correcting) It's not that the cause isn't just. I--I'm worried someone might recognize your face.

REINA

(reassuring, to Orkun; translated from German) This is the best way in to the prison. No one will bat a single eye to the help.

Panel 3: We move to a shot of Fran walking over to her partner with a brown satchel gripped in her right hand, joining in the conversation with a simple nod.

REINA

(Cont., Off-Panel; to Fran) Isn't that right, dearest?

FRAN

(quick chuckle, to Reina and Orkun; translated from German) Indeed it is. Besides, the Soviet Captain explicitly called for us to be quick and efficient. This achieves that, even with the risk of exposure.

Panel 4: Cut to a shot of the satchel in Reina's hands, showing a pair of timer grenades in the bag along with a simple Swiss army knife to break in somewhere.

ORKUN

(Off-Panel) A fair point. I've got plenty of ways to help plow a hole in case it goes south

Panel 5: Action shot of Reina a few moments later, giving one last kiss to the human man's cheek before making her way to the door.

REINA

(chuckles lovingly) It'll be fine...I'll be okay. If I'm not back in an hour, then you can--

ORKUN

(interjecting, loving nod) Bomb it to rubble...consider it done.

REINA

(Bubble 2) Love you...

Panel 6: Same setting as the previous panel, though with a wider layout as Fran comes into the scene from the left; the pair holding hands lovingly.

REINA

(Cont., to Fran) And love you!

FRAN

(same as Orkun) Love you too!

ORKUN

(same as Fran, in the background) Love you too!

Panel 7: We move to a shot of Reina a short time later, jumping out of the airship doors; the controlled roar of orange flames emanating from the heels of her feet to help land without damaging herself.

Page 28

Panel 1: Cut to a shot of her walking up to the gate, showing off a faux ID provided by Hi-Hi to the guard at the gate. He pays bare attention to said ID, pressing the button that will soon open the way inside.

Panel 2: While inside a short time later, we see Reina start cleaning one area of the compound in search of those in need of rescuing...

Panel 3: Same action as the previous panel, though in another completely different part of the compound...

Panel 4: Same action as the other two panels, taking place near another part of the compound just beginning to pass a storage room door in the background.

Panel 5: Same setting/layout as the previous panel, the lone difference being that Reina's stopped moving upon hearing something from off-panel left.

PRISONER

(Off-Panel, to Reina) 11-1-01-01_11-1-00-10-1-10...!

Panel 6: Cut to a shot of prison cell doors located near the end of the hallway. We don't see any of the faces inside said doors, though the refrain is similar to the previous panel.

PRISONER, CELL #1

(Cont.) 11-1-01-01_11-1-00-10-1-10...!

PRISONER, CELL #2

(connected to Prisoner, next cell over) 11-1-01-01_11-1-00-10-1-10...!

PRISONER, CELL #3

(connected to the other Prisoners, next to Prisoner #2) 11-1-01-01_11-1-00-10-1-10...!
